One of the most busy manufacturers was Nissan. They unveiled a number of concepts, including the hatchback-sized Concept 20-23, and the Hyper Urban SUV. Both of these are likely to shape what the future Micra and Qashqai could look like, even if it’s likely that the crazy aero and gull-wing doors attached to either are likely to be removed for the production models. However, neither was the most exciting Nissan on show. That title is held by the Nissan Hyper Force, which illustrates what the future R36 GT-R may look like! Given it’s a concept it is likely to be toned down slightly for the production model, but the stats Nissan has unveiled are out of this world. It’ll be all-electric and will be able to produce 1,360hp – more than DOUBLE the output of the R35 GT-R NISMO! It wasn’t just Nissan that unveiled some exciting new cars. Toyota was around and showed off the FT-SE sports car. It looks like it could be a replacement for the MR2, and this all-electric sports car is likely to come with dual motors and four-wheel drive. Toyota also showed off an all-electric Land Cruiser, which we can’t wait to get our hands on! There were also some interesting unveilings from Mazda, including the Iconic SP. It’s a two-door sports car that’ll weigh 1,450kg, and looks set to be a replacement for the RX-7! It even comes with a rotary engine, even if this will only be used to power an electric motor… Apparently! But which car was your favourite on show? Surely it had to be the future GT-R. Or did something else catch your eye? Let us know in the comments! This is a high-risk investment and you are unlikely to be protected if something goes wrong. Take 2 mins to learn more at https://www.crowdcube.com/explore/risk-warning ……………………………………………………… Thanks to @MarkMcCann64 for joining us for this race! BRABUS fans, we’ve got you with this one! We’ve brought Mark McCann along with his BRABUS GLE 850, and he’s about to face off against the cheapest BRABUS you can buy – and it’s a Smart #1! So let’s see how the two stack up. Starting with the GLE, it’s packing an almighty 6-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 850hp and 1,450Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy, mind, coming in at 2,350kg, and its power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic gearbox. And then we have the Smart #1. It’s equipped with two electric motors, and these combine to produce 428hp and 584Nm. In terms of weight, lighter than the GLE, although it’s still a bit heavy. It tips the scales at 1,900kg. So it’s a £44,000 BRABUS vs a £180,000 BRABUS. Will it be an easy win for the EV? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! New Honda CR-V review: Better than VW & Skoda?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6NJDHcstXw

Pre-register to invest in carwow: https://www.carwow.co.uk/invest Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you are unlikely to be protected if something goes wrong. Take 2 mins to learn more at https://www.crowdcube.com/explore/risk-warning ………………………………………………………. This is the new Honda CR-V! The CR-V has been around for some time now, but here in the UK it doesn’t seem to get the same plaudits as some of its key competitors, such as the Skoda Karoq or VW Tiguan. So the question is, does the new CR-V offer enough to compete with these class leaders? Well let’s take a closer look, starting with the exterior design. The CR-V certainly looks the part, with sleek headlights and taillights designs, and the usual SUV profile along the side. You’ll also find soft creases across the bodywork, roof bars along the top, and a large grille at the front. If you have a top of the range model like we do here, you’ll also find a sporty front bumper. The interior is well laid out, and we’re glad to find a couple of physical buttons and dials for the climate controls. However, reach a bit lower down and you’ll find scratchy plastics along the central console and on the door bins. There’s also a large infotainment screen on top of the dash, and while the system isn’t the best, it’s certainly much better than the old Honda infotainment system! There are two engines to choose from. Both are 2-litre 4 cylinder petrol engines, and both are hybrids. The plug-in hybrid comes with the a single electric motor to drive the front wheels, like the self-charging hybrid has two motors and offers four wheel drive. Despite this, both cars have the same 148hp power output. So does the new CR-V have what it takes to compete with the best? And is it worth the £46,000 starting price? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters
