Mat and Daniel have pulled up at an indoor ski slope, and they’re about to race each other uphill in these two mighty supercars. Under the surface, these two cars are almost identical. They’re both powered by the same 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10. In the RWD, it produces 570hp and 550Nm of torque, whereas in the AWD it puts down 620hp and 580Nm. The RWD is lighter, though, tipping the scales at 1,590kg. In comparison, the AWD weighs 1,695kg. However, this is no ordinary drag race! They’ll both start out with summer tyres fitted, after which they’ll switch over to winter tyres! Will there be a noticeable difference? And will the lighter RWD R8 stand a chance?
