Starting off with the design, this thing is absolutely plastered in carbon fibre! There’s a carbon fibre bonnet, and carbon vents across most of the front end. There’s also an updated bumper and splitter compared to the standard Range Rover. The car also comes with optional carbon fibre alloys and a little side skirt along the car. Around the back, you’ll find quad tailpipes, but all-in-all the car still pairs elegance with sporty styling well. Step inside and the SV is just as luxurious as the regular Range Rover. There’s leather throughout the cabin, as well as Alcantara on the roof lining. The SV also comes with carbon fibre-backed sports seats as well as a ceramic gear selector, and of course all of the usual luxuries like a fridge in the centre console and soft-close doors. Under the bonnet, the 5-litre supercharged V8 has been swapped for BMW’s glorious 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 – the same V8 from the M5 CS, no less! As a result the SV now puts down 635hp and 750Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and the car can hit 60mph in just 3.6 seconds. So it’s super powerful and super fun to drive – but it costs an incredible £169,000! So is it worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters
