Well you have them go head-to-head against each other, of course! Now on paper, you may think this will be an easy walkover for the Project 8. With a 5-litre supercharged V8 under the bonnet, it'll produce 600hp & 700Nm! In comparison, the AMG A45 S only has a 2-litre turbo under the bonnet, which will produce 'just' 421hp & 500Nm. And how about the weight? Well, to be honest, they're pretty even… The Jag comes in at 1672kg, while the AMG is only slightly lighter at 1630kg. So you're probably thinking 'Mat, what's the point?!' Well, here's the thing… While the A45 costs £56,000, that's only a fraction of the HUGE £180,000 price tag of the Project 8! So with that in mind,, will there be such a massive difference in performance? There's only one way to find out… LET'S RACE!
