Day 3 Recap. Things are going well here on the third day of Hot Rod’s Week to Wicked build presented by Duralast. Today the crew got the engine and transmission into the car, which means most of the heavy lifting is done. There was a bit of a mix up with the oil pan and motor mount combination, but finally the crew got the right assortment of both and settled the LS3 from Gandrud Chevrolet into the engine compartment.

Day Two Recap. Day two began with the final installation of the rear axle assembly, adding the brackets to mount QA1’s rear coilover conversion. Once the axle was fully installed, the crew moved to the front of the car, where Mike Hamrick from Wilwood Disc Brakes showed off an easy way to set up the front spindles and mount the calipers so they are centered over the brake rotors. They did run into a snag however…
