Why this car is outselling VW, Ford and Toyota!

Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-1607 Meet the new MG HS! This mid-size SUV is currently the 5th best-selling car in the UK! The question is, why is it so popular? And does it offer enough to turn you away from competitors like the Volkswagen Tiguan, Kia Sportage and Mazda CX-5? Mat’s got his hands on one to find out. Starting with the design, it's a fairly good-looking car! At the front, there are creases in the bonnet to give it presence on the road, coupled with a huge grille and a sporty lower bumper. There are a couple of vents to give it more definition, but upon closer inspection, they are 100% fake! Along the side, there are chrome surrounds for the windows and on the roof bars, while at the back, there’s a small spoiler and a full-length light bar. Unfortunately, the fakery continues, with a pair of 100% fake exhaust pipes! On the inside, the MG HS is a pretty nice place to be. There’s leatherette across the dash and the top of the doors, and there are good-sized infotainment and digital dial screens. There may be some scratchy plastics down low, but that’s what you would come to expect for a car in this price bracket. The buttons on the steering wheel feel expensive, and there is a good amount of storage throughout. Knee room in the back is also plentiful. All editions of the MG HS come with a 1.5-litre petrol engine. The standalone car without hybrid support produces 169hp and 275Nm, while the self-charging hybrid produces 224hp and 340Nm. The top-of-the-range edition is the plug-in hybrid, which produces 299hp and 350Nm. The latter also allows for up to 76 miles of driving on electric power alone! The entry-level MG HS can be purchased for £23,572 with the Carwow discount applied. It’s also not much more for the top-of-the-range PHEV, which costs £28,250, again with the Carwow discount applied. Given that this is around £10,000 cheaper than its key competitor, the Volkswagen Tiguan, is the MG HS the right car for you? Stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters

TUNED Dodge Viper v Ford Mustang: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IanqqSUVvgg

Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-1507 It’s time for an all-American DRAG RACE! We’ve got our hands on a 6th-generation Ford Mustang, and it’s going up against a 5th-generation Dodge Viper GTC! The thing is, both of these all-American machines have been tuned! So, which will come out on top? Let’s take a closer look at the stats… Starting with the Mustang, this is the Ford Mustang CS 850. It’s powered by a 5-litre supercharged V8, and whereas it would normally produce 454hp, all of the upgrades mean it now puts down 859hp and 902Nm! This power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual, and it tips the scales at 1,900kg. As new with all the upgrades, the car costs around £115,000. Then we come to the Dodge Viper GTC. It’s also undergone a slight tune, so while the stock car would produce 654hp from its 8.4-litre naturally-aspirated V8, in this instance it creates 710hp and 786Nm! Just like the Mustang, power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual, and it’s the lighter of the two cars, weighing in at 1,560kg. As new, it costs around £70,000. So the Mustang is up on power, but the Dodge is a whole lot lighter! Can you pick a winner? There’s only one way to see who will come out on top… LET’S RACE! Get 20% off Car Vertical using code Carwow: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Car-Vertical It’s time for a Koenigsegg vs Koenigsegg showdown! We’ve got Mat in the Koenigsegg Regera, and he’s going up against Wam Barn’s Koenigsegg Agera RS! The question is, which will come out on top?! Let’s take a closer look at the stats… Starting with the Regera, it’s powered by a 5-litre twin-turbo V8 as well as three electric motors. It’s running on E85 fuel, which means it has an incredible power output of 1,500hp and 2,000Nm of torque! Power is sent to the rear wheels via a single-speed torque converter gearbox, and the car tips the scales at 1,590kg. In terms of value, it sits at around £3,000,000. Then we have the Agera RS. It also has a 5-litre twin-turbo V8, but there are no electric motors to be found here! It’s also running on E85, which means it can put down 1,360kg and 1,570Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed dual-clutch, and it’s the lighter of the two cars, weighing in at 1,395kg. Just like the Regera, it’s valued at £3,000,000. So the Regera has more power, but it’s also a fair bit heavier! Could that difference prove decisive? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
