However, now he’s had the chance to drive it several times, he’s wondering if he was wrong when he gave his last verdict! To put it to the test, we’ve brought together its key competitors – the RS7 Performance and Mercedes-AMG GT 63. So of course, given how powerful these machines are, we need to look at the stats! The BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor, which combine to produce 727hp and 1000Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, weighing a colossal 2,435kg! The RS7 is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this creates 630hp and 850Nm. This performance is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 2,065kg. Then finally we have the AMG. It’s also powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, which creates 639hp and 900Nm. It’s equipped with a 9-speed auto gearbox, and it tips the scales at 2,135kg. So the BMW clearly has the performance, but of course, it’s not like an owner of this car will be drag racing it daily! With that in mind, not only is Mat going to test their performance, but he’ll also give each car a proper Carwow review. He’ll look into their design, their interiors, and what space is like in the rear, and of course, he’ll take each car for a drive. So will the new BMW come out on top? ………………………..………………………..……………………….. We’ve just hit 10 million subscribers on YouTube, and we’re celebrating with the one you’ve all been waiting for… Bugatti vs Koenigsegg Carwow drag race! Mat and the team have flown out to Dubai to get their hands on these awesome hypercars, and they’re about to go head-to-head as they race over the quarter-mile for the chequered flag. But which will come out on top? Let’s take a closer look at the stats. Starting with the Bugatti, it’s the Chiron Super Sport, which comes with an 8-litre quad-turbo W16 that produces 1600hp and 1600Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and the car weighs 1,995kg. Following several interior & exterior modifications, the car we have here is valued at £5,000,000. Alongside it, we have the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack. This is powered by a 5-litre twin-turbo V8, and this creates 1280hp and 1000Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 9-speed multi-clutch gearbox, and it weighs a whole lot less than the Bugatti, tipping the scales at just 1,420kg! But just like the Chiron Super Sport, it has a price tag of £5,000,000. So the Bugatti is well up on power, but it weighs half a tonne more than the Koenigsegg!
