1800hp Lambo Huracan v Rimac Nevera: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riMGY4Wn38s

Thanks to JM Imports for joining us for this race: – @jmimports – https://www.instagram.com/jm_imports_uk/ This is an incredible petrol v electric drag race line-up! We’ve got our hands on the almighty Rimac Nevera electric hypercar, and it’s going up an absolutely wild Lamborghini Huracan! So let’s see how the two compare. Starting with the Rimac, it rolls up with four electric motors that combine to put down 1,914hp and 2,360Nm of torque. It’s equipped with a huge 120kWh battery, but as a result, it’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2,300kg. It also comes with a proper hefty price tag, costing around £2,000,000! Next up we have the Lambo, and it’s had a whole load of work done to it, including a fully built engine and gearbox! As a result, the 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 can produce 1,800hp and 1,500Nm! What’s more, it’s a whole lot lighter than the Rimac, weighing just 1,650kg! So how will this one play out? The Lambo may be down on power, but will the weight difference prove decisive? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! 620hp Audi R8 GT v AWD R8 v RWD R8: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5QLi8T0YTA

We’ve got our hands on three glorious V10-powered R8s, and they’re about to go head-to-head over the quarter mile! So let’s see how the three compare. Starting with the R8 V10 Performance, it’s powered by a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that can produce 570hp and 550Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,590kg. If you’re looking to pick one up, it’ll cost around £132,000. Then we have the R8 V10 Performance Spyder. It’s housing the same engine was the coupe, but power has been increased to 620hp and 580Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch, but as it’s the Spyder it’s the heaviest car here, weighing in at 1,695kg. The price is also up on the coupe, costing around £167,000. But that price is nothing compared to the limited-edition R8 GT – the last fully petrol-powered R8 to ever be produced! It costs from £200,000, and only 15 of them are set to go on sale in the UK! However, it still comes with the same 5.2-litre V10 as the other cars, and the power output is almost identical to the Spyder, at 620hp and 565Nm! Power is sent to the rear wheels only, but it’s also the lightest car here, at 1,570kg. So how will this one play out – will the all-new R8 snatch it? Or will the AWD performance of the Spyder power it to victory? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! Porsche 911 Turbo S v 1,100hp Supercar Killer: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tN7IAjKVTQ

It’s time for another contender to see if it can take down the Porsche 911 Turbo S! We’ve got Yianni in the 911 Turbo, and he’s lining up against Mat in the Lucid Air Dream Performance. So let’s check out the stats. Starting with the trusty Porsche, it’s powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six that can put down 650hp and 800Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,640kg. If you’re looking to buy one new, it’ll cost around £180,000. Then we have the all-electric Lucid. It’s equipped with two electric motors, and they combine to put down an eye-watering 1,111hp and 1,390Nm! Power is sent to all four wheels, but given it’s electric it’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2,383kg! It’s also slightly more expensive than the Porsche, costing £193,000. So the Lucid has more power, but will the extra weight work against it? Or will it hang on to snatch the win? There’s only one way to be sure… LET’S RACE!
