Audi S8 v Porsche Panamera Turbo: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IedN0k4RSQ

Subscribe to our German YouTube channel: @carwow.de It’s time for a luxurious Audi vs Porsche drag race! We’ve got Mat lining up in his long-term Audi S8, and he’s facing off against Daniel (our carwow.de YouTube presenter!) in a Porsche Panamera Turbo S. So how do these two cars compare? Starting with the Audi, it’s packing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet that can deliver 571hp and 800Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy, tipping the scales at 2,220kg, and a new one will set you back around £103,000. As for the Porsche, it’s also powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, although its power output is up on the S8, delivering 630hp and 820Nm! What’s more, it’s also lighter, tipping the scales at 2,080kg. So the Porsche has more hp, more torque, and it’s also lighter… Is the result a foregone conclusion? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! The most hi-tech car I’ve ever driven!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3P0KtY_Fxs

Meet the most luxurious, hi-tech cars BMW has ever released – the new BMW 7 Series & BMW i7! Mat’s flown over to America to get his hands on these two luxurious limos to give them a full-blown, proper in-depth review! Let’s start with a look at the design. One thing’s for sure, from the back and the side, there’s no hiding that this is clearly a 7 Series. Sure there have been a few design upgrades over the previous generation, but the side and rear profile are quite clearly in the traditional 7 Series mold. But of course, it’s up top where things get interesting, with an absolutely massive double kidney grille that dominates the front end. Combine this with the split headlight design on either side, and you've got yourself one car that will definitely turn heads! Once you step inside, you are treated to a cabin absolutely full of high-quality materials, including leather & carbon on the dash, soft-touch felt on the roof, and super comfortable cashmere seats. You’ll also find the same swooping infotainment screen as in the new iX. But of course, the main feature of this interior is the huge 31-inch 8K cinema screen in the back! This thing is absolutely insane, and when you combine it with the ability to fully recline the seats in the back, there’s no denying that this is pretty much the best bit of technology we’ve got our hands on in any car… EVER! When it comes to performance, the range-topping BMW i7 60 comes with two electric motors to deliver 544hp and 745Nm of torque. It comes with a 102kWh battery pack that’s good for a claimed range of 388 miles. As for the BMW 7 Series, it comes with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that delivers an almost identical 544hp and 750Nm. As for the price, the 7 Series starts at £102,000, while the i7 starts at £108,000. But are they both worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself! Chapters

BMW M8 v Bentley Continental GT: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_dyznKVYLA

Check out our German YouTube channel: @carwow.de It’s time for an almighty Britain vs Germany DRAG RACE! Mat’s lining up in the Bentley Continental GT, and he’s alongside the awesome BMW M8 Competition! Now on the face of it, you might think it’ll be a walkover for the Bentley. With a 6-litre twin-turbo W12 under the bonnet, the Continental GT can deliver 660hp and 900Nm of torque. In comparison, the M8 is equipped with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that’s ‘only’ good for 625hp and 750Nm. However, there’s a key difference between the two. Whereas the BMW tips the scales at 1,900kg, the Bentley weighs in at 2,200kg! So the question is, will that weight difference prove decisive over the quarter-mile? This absolute behemoth is the Brabus 900 XLP! That’s right – Brabus has got its hands on the G-Wagon and turned it into an absolutely outrageous pick-up truck! So let’s take a look at what you get over the standard G-Wagon. Clearly, the main change is the load bed around the back, coupled with a whole load of carbon fibre covered oh-so-much of the exterior. There are also a number of huge vents and air intakes… Even if most of them are fake. Either way, it looks pretty damn mean! Oh, and the ground clearance has been increased from 21cm to 49cm!! On the inside, the carbon fibre theme continues, with carbon found throughout the cabin. The seats also come with an all-new leather design, and high-quality materials can be found absolutely everywhere, including leather in the foot wells and Alcantara on the roof! There are also some updated digital dials. Of course, the changes aren’t just cosmetic. Normally under the bonnet, you’d find a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can put down 585hp and 850Nm. But of course, Brabus went to work on this too, and now you’ll find a 4.5-litre twin-turbo V8 that’s good for 900hp and 1,050Nm!! Pretty impressive, right? Well, of course, there’s a catch… Not only is it limited to a run of just 10 units, but it’ll also set you back £670,000!! But is it worth it? Let’s find out! Chapters

Buying my SECRET famous friend a car!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvfvGTPo67E

Mat is teaming up with England rugby legend James Haskell to help him buy a new electric car! James recently bought a Land Rover Defender 90, but now he’s had a child he’s realised it's not as practical as he was hoping, so he’s going to sell it and swap it for an electric car! The question is, which car is right for him? Well, Mat has brought together a choice of four electric cars, and he’s going to run through their looks, interiors and what they’re like to drive so James can choose which is his favourite! The cars we’ve got on show are a Skoda Enyaq, Nissan Ariya, Kia EV6, and Tesla Model Y, as these all cost around the same as what we would expect the Defender 90 to sell for. However, the choice doesn’t stop there… In case James is willing to spend a little more, we’ve also brought in a Porsche Taycan & BMW iX M60! The question is, which will he choose? And more importantly, do you think these are the best 6 electric cars around, or should we have added another one to this video? Let us know in the comments!
