……………………………………………………. This is the all-new Lexus RZ! It’s the first Lexus designed to be purely electric, even if it does borrow lots of parts from Toyota along with a few ideas from Tesla! So let’s take a closer look… There’ll be no mistaking the RZ for a different Lexus! There’s no grille upfront (strange for a Lexus, we know…), while the rest of the car is covered in sharp creases to really help it stand out. It’s got some fins at the back of the roof, and we think the two-tone paint job is pretty slick. Step inside, and you’re greeted by a 14” touch screen infotainment system. But that’s not what you’ll notice straight away – that will be the yoke steering wheel! That’s right, Lexus has clearly borrowed some ideas from Tesla with this one, although the new electric steer by wire system should make the RZ’s yoke much easier to use than Tesla’s! When it comes to power, the RZ is equipped with two electric motors as standard, which will provide around 313hp. Lexus also claims the RZ should hit 60mph in 5.6 seconds – not bad for a small SUV!
