For starters, let’s check out the stats. The Mk1 RS3 is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged 5-cylinder that can put down 340hp and 480Nm of torque. It tips the scales at 1,575kg, and if you’re looking to pick one up in 2022 it’ll cost you about £25,000. As for the Mk2, it’s also powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged 5-cylinder, but it’s well up on power, producing 400hp and 480Nm of torque. It’s lighter than the Mk1, at 1,510kg, and the price of one today is about £35,000. Then finally we have the new Mk3. It’s powered by a (you guessed it…) 2.5-litre turbocharged 5-cylinder, putting down 400hp and 500Nm. It weighs the same as Mk1, at 1,575kg, and it currently costs £56,000.
