So let’s see how these supercars compare. Starting with the Lambo, it comes packing a mid-mounted 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that can put down 640hp & 565Nm. It tips the scales at 1,440kg. Next up we have the Ferrari, which is equipped with a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces way more than the Lambo – 720hp & 770Nm! It’s heavier, though, weighing in at 1,485kg. Then finally we have the GT3. It’s the lightest car here, at 1,435kg, but it’s also the least powerful, with its 4-litre flat-six putting down 510hp & 470Nm. Too close to call? Well, let’s look at the entry-level and the range-topping editions. The cheapest entry point is the RWD Taycan, which comes with 400hp and costs £74,000. At the top end, you have the Turbo S, which comes with almost 800hp and costs £139,000+. So then you have the Taycan GTS, which is equipped with two electric motors to deliver 598hp, with a starting price of £104,000. So, lots of power, but at a much cheaper price than the Turbo S! Mat’s got his hands on a Ford Transit MS-RT, and he’s going head-to-head against a Mercedes Vito! So which will come out on top? Well starting with the Ford, it’s powered by a 2-litre Diesel engine that can deliver 184hp & 415Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2.2 tonnes, and it also comes with a sporty body kit and a couple of interior upgrades, although we don’t think these will help in this battle! As for the Mercedes, it’s down on power, with its 1.8-litre turbo diesel putting down 134hp & 330Nm of torque. It’s lighter than the Ford, too, tipping the scales at 2 tonnes. What’s more, that’s not the end of the battle… The winner of the first challenge needs to go toe-to-toe with the new VW Transporter!
