That’s right, Mat’s got his hands on the new four-wheel-drive BMW M3 Competition, and he’s going up against two other AWD cars, the Tesla Model 3 Performance & the Audi RS5! Does the BMW have what it takes to take down the opposition? Well, let’s check out the stats… It’s powered by the same 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six as you’ll find in the RWD edition, and it’s got the same power output – 510hp & 650Nm. It’s a bit heavier, though, weighing in at 1,780kg. Alongside Mat’s the Model 3 Performance, which is powered by a 75kWh battery pack & dual electric motors to deliver 460hp and 640Nm. It also tips the scales at 1,850kg. So sure, it’s a bit down on power, but will the ability to instantly put down the power help out? Finally, we have the Audi RS5. It’s the least powerful car here, with its 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 putting out 450hp & 600Nm. But it’s also the lightest, weighing in at 1,740kg. Will it be an easy one for the BMW? Mat’s in the Tesla Model X Performance, and he’s going up against Yianni in his Urus and Mark McCann in his Brabus GLE 850! Now we’re sure we don’t need to tell you, the stats on all three cars are absolutely out of this world! Starting with the Brabus, it’s powered by a 6-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce a HUGE 850hp & 1,450Nm of torque! It’s pretty heavy, though, tipping the scales at 2,350kg. But of course, that’s still a fair bit lighter than the Tesla, weighing in at 2,600kg! It’s pretty powerful, though, with its two motors producing 670hp & 970Nm! So surprisingly, that means the Lamborghini here is the least powerful! However, not by much, with its 4-litre twin-turbo V8 able to put down 650hp & 850Nm. ……………………………………………………. This is the all-new Honda HR-V, and Mat’s about to find out if this is the best value-for-money family SUV you can buy in 2022! So let’s take a look at the design. For starters, there’s no denying that the looks are much improved over the previous generation. From a full-length light bar at the rear to a body colour grille upfront, this is one seriously stylish family car. Take a look at the inside and the high quality continues, with a smart-looking dash and a pretty good infotainment system. Honda has even retained some physical buttons so you don’t have to do everything through a touch screen! You won’t have any trouble picking an engine either, as there’s only one – a 1.5-litre petrol coupled with two electric motors to put down 130hp. There are also three trims to pick from, but otherwise, that’s your lot! So what do you think – is this the best family car you can buy for under £30,000?
