Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-27-05 It’s time for an epic German head-to-head! We’ve got our hands on the BMW M8 Competition, and it’s going up against the new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS! Let’s take a closer look at our contenders… Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 3.6-litre turbocharged flat-six that delivers 541hp and 610Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it tips the scales at 1,645kg. As new, it costs around £139,100. The M8 Competition is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this puts down 625hp and 750Nm. As with the M4, power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 1,975kg. A new one of these will set you back £137,000. So the BMW has more power, but could the hefty weight difference lead to the 911 snatching the win?! There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE! Save on a BMW M8: https://bit.ly/BMW-M8-Deal Leasey Deal: https://bit.ly/Leasey-Deal-2705 911 GTS v M4 CS: https://bit.ly/Drag-Race-2705

We’ve got Mat in the 992 GT3 RS, and he’s going up against racing driver Sam in the Mercedes-AMG GT R! But which will come out on top over the quarter-mile? Let’s take a closer look at the stats. Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six that can produce 525hp and 465Nm of torque. This power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and the car tips the scales at 1,450kg. It has a price tag of £192,600. As for the AMG, it’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 which creates 585hp and 700Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed auto gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,555kg. When this was new, it cost £156,000. This one’s going to be close! But can you pick a winner? There’s only one way to find out what will happen… LET’S RACE! Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-2205 This is the new Volvo XC90! It’s the second facelift this version of the XC90 has received, having originally been released way back in 2015! The question is, how much has changed compared to the two previous iterations? And is it still one of the best 7-seaters around? Mat’s about to take a closer look and find out. In terms of the design, there are a few updates over the previous edition. Up front, there’s a new bumper, a redesigned grille, and some updated headlights. Along the side, it’s pretty much the same as it was before, although that’s no surprise given the body panels have been retained from the previous edition. Around the back, the car is still almost identical to before, although options are fairly limited anyway when you’re a big seven-seat SUV! On the inside, there are a few notable changes. The infotainment screen now sticks out from the dash, and the operating system has been updated to Android Auto. The cabin is covered in soft-touch materials, and the general layout is still relatively the same as before. The digital dial screen has been retained, although it’s quite dark – competitors like the Audi Q7 certainly do it better. Regarding engines, there are only two to choose from. Both are 2-litre 4-cylinders, with the entry-level coming with a mild hybrid set-up that delivers 250hp. A plug-in hybrid option is also available, which adds a bigger motor and helps to produce 455hp. Both setups come with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The new XC90 certainly looks the part, but it doesn’t come cheap! The entry-level starts from £65,000, with the range-topper (the car we have for this video) costs around £78,000. So is it worth it? Stick with Mat to take a closer look!
