We've got our hands on a Dodge Viper GTS, a Shelby Cobra replica and a Ford Mustang, and they're about to go head-to-head over the quarter mile to see which comes out on top! But how do the three compare? Well starting with the Mustang, it's powered by a 5-litre V8 that can produce 460hp and 527Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 6-speed manual gearbox, and the tips the scales at 1,808kg. When new in 2019, the Mustang would have cost around £55,000. Next up we have the Dodge Viper. It comes equipped with an 8-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that creates 456hp and 664Nm. As with the Mustang, the power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual, and it weighs in at just 1,595kg. As new, the Viper cost around £69,000. Then finally we come to the Cobra replica. It's powered by a 5-litre Ford Coyote V8 that can put down 460hp and 569Nm. As with the other cars, it's power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual, and it's also scarily light, tipping the scales at just 835kg! If you want to grab one of these, it'll cost you a cool £195,000! So will the light weight power the Cobra to victory? There's only one way to find out… LET'S RACE! He's been running it for the past several months, and to be fair, it's put in some serious miles. From the new AMG C63 through to a 458 Speciale and even an Ioniq 5 N, the RS7 has been a star in several drag races. But then again, when it's equipped with an almighty 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 630hp and 850Nm, it's no surprise that it's been inclcuded in so many drags! But thankfully, there is a more than adequate replacement lined up. Taking the place of the RS7 is a Porsche Boxster Spyder RS! The Spyder RS is powered by the same glorious motorsport-derived 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six as you’ll find in the GT4 RS, 911 GT3 & GT3 RS. It sounds absolutely incredible, and it puts down 500hp and 450Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed PDK automatic gearbox. It’s absolutely epic! Well, Mat’s got his hands on an Audi A4, BMW 3 series and a Mercedes C-class all from the early 2000s to see if opting for a classic saloon is worth it. Oh, and he’s going to drag race them of course! First up the Audi A4. It’s covered 129,000 miles and has a 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 130hp & 195nm. That power goes to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. Then there’s the Mercedes C180. It's driven 126,000 miles and has a 1.8-litre inline four-cylinder engine with a supercharger. It puts out 141hp & 220nm. That power goes to the rear-wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Then finally, there’s the BMW 318i. It's covered 88,000 miles and has a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated inline four-cylinder engine that makes 140hp & 200nm.
