Powered by a 5-litre naturally-aspirated V10, it puts down a glorious 507hp & 520Nm of torque. Naturally it’s quite heavy though, given it’s the touring, weighing in at 1,880kg. In comparison, the M440i is powered by a 3-litre straight-six with a single turbo to produce 374hp & 500Nm. However, just because it’s down on power doesn’t mean it’s out of this race! It comes equipped with AWD, launch control, and it comes in lighter than the M5, at 1,800kg. So what do you think – will they be neck-and-neck at the finish line? Now when it comes to the design & build quality, it won’t come as a shock to any of you that the C-Class bears a lot of similarities to the S-Class. But then again, that’s no bad thing! It looks great on the outside, and once you step inside, you’ll be treated to high quality materials throughout. So it looks great, but what’s the performance like? Well you’ll have a number of petrol, diesel and hybrid engines to choose from. They’re all 2-litre 4 cylinders, and while the C300 delivers 258hp, the C300d will produce 265hp. The C300e has the same size engine, but it combines with an electric motor to produce 333hp. You’ll also be able to drive on electric power alone for up to 62 miles! We’re sure we don’t need to tell you, but the stats on both of these cars are out of this world! Starting with the Chiron, it’s powered by a humungous 8-litre quad-turbo W16, which pumps out an astronomical 1,500hp & 1,600Nm of torque! It’s pretty heavy though, weighing in at 1,995kg. And then we come to the F1 car. This is no ordinary F1 car though – it’s the 2011 world-championship winning RB7! Powered by a 2.4-litre naturally-aspirated V8, it can put down 750hp. Think it’s therefore at a disadvantage compared to the Chiron’s huge W16? Well don’t forget it’s built out of carbon fibre and weighs just 650kg! Trust us, this one is NOT to be missed! On the outside it may look relatively similar to the S-Class, but once you peer a bit closer, you’ll see there are a number of subtle changes, such as unique wheel designs, a bespoke Maybach grille, and a whole load of chrome! But it’s once you set foot inside that you notice how much more luxurious the Maybach is compared to the normal S-Class. The fact it’s Ferrari’s first V6 in 47 years isn’t the only surprising thing here, though – it’s also a plug-in hybrid! However, that’s no bad thing – this 2.9-litre V6-powered PHEV can still put down an awesome 830hp & 740Nm of torque! And that’s not all! It’ll have no problem shooting you to over 205mph, and doing so by getting you to 60mph in just 2.9 seconds! But of course, all that power doesn’t come cheap, with prices expected to come in around £230,000! ……………………………………………………. If you’re in the market for an imposing & powerful electric car, it doesn’t get much better than these two – the Audi RS e-tron GT & the Porsche Taycan Turbo! You see, under the skin, they’re effectively the same car. But the question is, which should you choose? Well Mat’s here to help you decide! Let’s start with the Audi. Powered by two electric motors (one at the front, one at the back) and combined they can produce 598hp. However, the e-tron GT also comes with a boost function, which for 2.5 seconds will deliver 646hp! Not only that, but Audi claim it can hit 60mph in just 3.3 seconds. Pretty impressive, right? Well the Taycan Turbo can easily match it! It also comes equipped with two electric motors, which combine to deliver 687hp when you launch it! It’s also claimed to be able to hit 60mph in just 3.2 seconds – so it’s slightly quicker & more powerful than the e-tron! But is that enough to sway your decision towards the Porsche over the Audi?
