……………………………………………………. It’s time for a Saturday supercar showdown! The Ferrari’s the most powerful car in this line-up, with a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 able to put down 720hp & 770Nm of torque! What's more, it's also the lightest competitor today, weighing in at just 1,385kg. As for the Lamborghini, it’s definitely going to be up for the challenge, given it’s packing a 5.2-litre V10! However, the power output is slightly less than the 488 Pista, at 640hp & 600Nm. And then we come to the Porsche 911 Turbo S. With a 3.8-litre flat-six it’ll put down 650hp & 800Nm. So when you’re just looking at the stats, you may think the Ferrari is the favourite… But let’s be honest, this isn’t our first 911 Turbo drag race, and it’s already swept so many competitors aside! Clearly the designers haven’t been all that busy, have they? That said, there are still a few notable changes, including an all-new infotainment system, coupled with a few minor design changes for the exterior. So it hasn’t changed much when it comes to the design, but at least there’s one area which has evolved from the previous model – the choice of engines! There are three to choose from, including a 3-litre 6-cylinder which can achieve 360hp and 60mph in just 6.2 seconds… Not bad for a seven-seater! ……………………………………………………. Introducing the first purpose-built, all-electric BMW SUV – the iX! Ok, we know what you’re all thinking. Yes, it’s an electric car. So no, it doesn’t need the grille at the front… But it’s there anyway! Let just remember though, when Mat saw this grille in person with the M3 & M4 he didn’t mind it so much, so maybe it’ll grow on you all too? We’ll have to wait and see… So some of you may not like the design, but there’s one thing you can’t claim to be disappointed with – the performance! Thanks to its dual electric motors, the iX can put down 500hp – more than the new M3! Not only that, but it’ll also fly to 60mph in less than 5-seconds. When it comes to range, the iX continues to sound pretty impressive, with BMW claiming it’ll take you 375 miles on a single charge. That’s over 100 miles MORE than the Audi e-tron & Mercedes EQC.
