It’s Audi’s answer to the Tesla Model S Plaid Plus & the Porsche Taycan Turbo, and Mat’s got his hands on one to see if this all-new Audi can make it alongside these class-leaders! So if we’re comparing it to the Taycan Turbo & Plaid Plus, then you already know RS e-tron is packing a punch! It’s got two electric motors (one at the front, one at the back) and combined they can produce 598hp. However, the e-tron GT also comes with a boost function, which for 2.5 seconds will deliver 646hp! Not only that, but Audi claim it can hit 60mph in just 3.3 seconds. When looking at the battery, the e-tron GT has a 93kWh battery pack, which Audi claims will be good for a range of 300 miles. However, we’ve seen electric cars drop well below their claimed range before, so do you think the e-tron will offer good enough economy?
