V12 Ferrari v 3cyl Tuned GR Yaris: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSTzgGDUHXk

The Carwow Black Friday sale is now live: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Black-Friday-Sale It’s time for Italy and Japan to go head-to-head! We’ve got our hands on a Ferrari 812 Superfast, and it’s going up against… A Toyota GR Yaris?! But, of course, this is no ordinary GR Yaris – it’s the same one that took on the Lamborghini Aventador SV! So let’s see how the two compare. Starting with the Ferrari, it’s powered by a glorious 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 that can produce 800hp and 718Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and the car weighs 1,630kg. When new, it cost around £261,000! Then we have the GR Yaris. It’s normally powered by a 1.6-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol that can produce 261hp and 360Nm. However, that has been ripped out and replaced with a fully built engine, and this tuned Yaris now puts down 630hp and 430Nm! This power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed sequential gearbox, and the car weighs just 1,280kg! With all the mods added it has a value of around £130,000! So the Ferrari has more power, but the Yaris is super light! Can you pick a winner? There’s only one way to see which will come out on top… LET’S RACE! Mercedes CLE review: Is it really worth £75,000?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkhH0Hs1tZA

The Carwow Black Friday sale is now live: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Black-Friday-Sale This is the new Mercedes CLE! It’s a replacement for both the C-Class Coupe & E-Class Coupe, but is it the best of both worlds? Mat’s about to take a look and find out. In terms of the design, it looks pretty smart from the outside! The grille comes full of mini Mercedes stars, all surrounding a large badge that sits front and centre. It’s flanked on either side by real vents, and all-in-all the cars looks pretty sporty from the front. Along the side the smart looks continue, with creases running along the whole side coupled with black surroundings around the windows. At the back, it looks nice, but there’s one key issue – fake exhausts! When will Mercedes learn?! Step inside and the CLE is a largely nice place to be. There’s a huge infotainment screen in the centre of the dash, and the digital dial screen comes with multiple different displays. The cabin overall looks quite nice, but look a bit closer and there are a couple of areas covered in cheap plastics! There are a couple of engines available, including a 2-litre turbo diesel! This produces 197hp, while the two 2-litre turbo petrols produce 204hp and 258hp respectively. There’s a plug-in hybrid available as well, which creates 313hp. There’s also a 3-litre straight-six – this produces 381hp in the 450 we’re reviewing here, while in the range-topping AMG it makes 449hp. The CLE range starts at £46,000, but it climbs a fair bit if you’re looking up the range. The 450 we have here costs around £73,000, and it’s not even the range-topping AMG! So is it worth it? Stick with Mat to find out! Chapters

Lamborghini Urus v RS7 Performance: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uy0fjIAxr8

The Carwow Black Friday sale is now live: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Black-Friday-Sale It’s time for an Audi vs ‘Audi’ showdown! We’ve brought along Mat’s Audi RS7 Performance for one final drag race, and it’s going up against an Audi RSQ8 in disguise… Also known as a Lamborghini Urus! They’re both powered by the same engine, but which will come out on top? For starters, let’s take a closer look at the stats… The Lamborghini Urus is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 650hp and 850Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed torque converter gearbox, and the car weighs in at 2,197kg. As new, the Urus cost from £175,000. As for the RS7, you’ll find the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet. Here though, it’s tuned to 630hp and 850Nm of torque, and power is sent to all four wheels via the same 8-speed torque converter gearbox. It tips the scales at 2,065kg, and when new it costs from £130,000. So the RS7 is lighter, but the Urus has more power! Can you pick a winner? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
