We like Huracáns here at Top Gear. They have the looks, the handling, and the noise. But what they don't have, despite most of them being 4WD, is the ability to drive down a really bumpy backroad at speed – until now. Welcome to the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, a rally-ready raging bull that very well could be the greatest Huracán ever. To make it capable off-road Lamborghini have added reinforced bumpers and side skirts, all-terrain tyres, skidplates, an inlet scoop at the top of the rear windscreen, chunky bolt-on wheelarches and increased the ride height by 44mm over a standard EVO. The engine itself is – as expected – a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 as per the standard Huracán RWD, meaning an easy and reliable 600bhp and 413lb ft of torque, with a redline at 8,700rpm. There’s a dedicated engine tune for Sterrato, but seeing as that maximum torque figure isn’t achieved until six-and-a-half-grand, you’ll still have to rev it. Not usually a problem, seeing as that V10 at above 8,500rpm should be registered as an aural national treasure. This is the Alpine A110S and it's all the Ss: sharper, stiffer, swifter and stoppier. The Stig isn’t the biggest fan of the standard A110. Too soft and squidgy said the sad slope of his shoulders when, back in 2018, it put in a 1:22.9 lap. Which made it faster than a Toyota Supra, and matched a Ferrari F430. So how much faster is the little Alpine with stiffer suspension, uprated brakes, wider, stickier tyres, a wing and an extra 40bhp? Answer: 0.6 seconds. On a very HOT day, the A110S put in a 1:22.3. Not a massive improvement, but it remains a giant slayer (as quick as a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale or Audi R8 V10 Spyder) not to mention any race team would kill for a 0.6sec improvement… Chapters

Europe’s supercars are mainly Italian, German, and British… but another nation is in on the action. From the land that brought you Skoda, meet Czechia’s fastest export: the Praga Bohema. It’s not mucking about, is it? The all-carbon fibre two-seater is not a road-going version of Praga’s R1R racing car. Oh no. The R1R makes do a with a willing Renault engine good for 365bhp. The Bohema doesn’t share components with the racer. And courtesy of a Nissan GT-R engine, it’s got 700bhp. The engineers say they’re simply not interested in an irrelevant big top speed number, when all the fun is had getting the Bohema through the corners as quickly as physics allows. Over 900kg of downforce ought to help there. That insectile body is fully carbon fibre and obsessed with channelling air. There’s no active aero though: an airbrake or adjustable flaps would need a heavy hydraulic system, which offends the sub-1000kg Praga’s weight-shedding ethos. There is, however, full air-con and a state of the art touchscreen inside. Sort of.
