We all knew it was coming, but here it is, the new 992 generation 911 GT3 RS. It’s packed with racing tech, and probably some actual magic to make the most hardcore, exciting 911 to date. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat six producing 518bhp. Porsche says it’ll hit 184mph flat out, with 0-62mph taking just 3.2 seconds. Being an RS, it’s not going to be chunky – thanks to lightweight materials like Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic, it weighs just 1,450kgs with fluids. Not until TopGear decided to set one… Since there’s no electric Ferrari road cars (yet) TopGear magazine’s Ollie Kew enlisted the help of Oxfordshire’s Little Car Company, which hand-builds scaled-down replicas of iconic classic for wealthy children – and big kids. Its fastest creation yet is this 75% model of a 250 Testa Rossa, complete with Brembo brakes, Borrani wheels, Eibach suspension and a mighty 16bhp. Plenty, when there’s no seatbelt. It’s probably the ultimate toy car – and the most expensive, at £100,000 – but is it capable of setting a lap time on Ferrari’s hallowed tarmac that Enzo himself would be proud of? This behemoth is the Torsus Praetorian – the Mad Max of coaches. It came to life after the husband and wife team of Pulsar Expo realised that companies needed a more efficient way to move people on-site than a fleet of pick-ups and SUVs. What spawned was a 35-seater off-road bus which can handle pretty much any terrain you can think of. Its 6.9-litre straight-six diesel engine produces 290bhp which might not sound like much considering a basic Praetorian weighs 13,400kgs – until you find out it also has 848lb-ft torque. Where else better to test the ultimate off-road bus than Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe hanging out at just under 11,000 ft. Allow Top Gear Magazine's Tom Ford to be your guide.
