Well starting with the Hyundai, it’s powered by two electric motors which combine to produce an incredible 650hp and 740Nm of torque. Given the two motors it comes with four-wheel drive, but the large battery adds to the weight, meaning it tips the scales at 2,235kg! However, all that power comes relatively cheap, with the IONIQ 5 N starting from £65,000. Then we come to the AMG. It’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 585hp and 800Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox, and it comes in a bit lighter than the IONIQ, weighing in at 2,130kg.
