We’ve got Mat in a Land Cruiser from 2002, and it’s about to face off against a Range Rover in a series of off-road challenges! So let’s see how the two compare. Starting with the Land Cruiser, it’s powered by a 4.7-litre naturally-aspirated V8 that can produce 235hp and 434Nm of torque. It comes equipped with a 4-speed automatic gearbox, and it weighs in at 2,260kg. We picked up this car with over 275,000 miles on the clock, and it still cost us £5,000! Alongside that, we have the Range Rover. It dates back to 2004, and it’s powered by a 4.4-litre naturally-aspirated V8 that can put down 286hp and 440Nm. This power is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 2,440kg. What’s more, the Range Rover only cost us £2,000 when we picked it up!
