We’ve got our hands on the Porsche 911 Turbo 930, and it’s going up against a Dodge Viper from 1992! So let’s see how the two compare. Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 3.3-litre flat-six air-cooled engine that can produce 300hp and 430Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear-wheels only, and it tips the scales at 1,310kg. Then alongside it we have the Viper. It’s powered by an 8-litre V10 that can produce 400hp and 630Nm, with this power sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. It may have more power than the Viper, but it’s also heavier, weighing in at 1,490kg. So will the newer, more powerful Viper snatch it? Or will the extra weight prove decisive?
