We’ve got Mat in the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and he’s going head-to-head against Yianni in the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye & Racing Driver Sam in the Ford Mustang! So let’s see how these mighty muscle cars compare. Starting with the Camaro ZL1, it’s powered by a 6.2-litre supercharged V8, which would normally deliver 650hp. However, this one’s been tuned, and as a result, it puts down 770hp & 1,000Nm of torque! It delivers the power to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,748kg. Next up we have the Dodge. It’s also powered by a 6.2-litre supercharged V8, but it’s completely stock, so it puts down 808hp and 959Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it’s the heaviest car here, tipping the scales at 1,720kg. Then finally we have the Ford Mustang, which has also been tuned, so as a result it’s housing a 5-litre supercharged V8 under the bonnet that can put down 859hp and 902Nm! Just like the others, it’s rear-wheel drive, but it has one big disadvantage – it’s equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox! However, it’s also the lightest car here, coming in at 1,720kg.
