Now they may have very different components under their bonnets, but given the Audi is so new, will it be able to hold its own against the Tesla? It’s time to check out the stats… Starting with the Audi RS3, you’ll find a 2.5-litre turbocharged 5 cylinder engine upfront, which has the ability to put down 400hp & 500Nm of torque. It tips the scales at 1,570kg, and a new one will set you back around £50,000. Then we have the Tesla. It’s the Performance edition, so it’s powered by two electric motors which combined to put down 490hp. It’s also up on torque, given it can produce 660Nm. It’ll cost you £10,000 more than the RS3, though, and it’s also 300kg heavier! So what do you think, will it be a walkover for the Tesla’s instant throttle response?
