So who do we have lining up today? First up we have Mat in the new Land Rover Defender, which is powered by a 2-litre turbocharged Diesel engine to deliver 240hp and 430Nm of torque. Alongside him we have the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, which has a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which can put down 272hp & 400Nm of torque. We also have a G-Class joining us (a G350d, to be precise!) which has a 2.9-litre straight-six turbo diesel to produce 286hp & 600Nm of torque! And then finally we have an old Defender, with a 2.2-litre turbo diesel which can only put down 122hp & 360Nm. So how do you think this one will play out? The G has the most pulling power, but it’s also the heaviest (and not to mention the most expensive!). Or perhaps the all-new Defender will be able to race away to victory?
