Temerario SVJ: 1,100hp ‘baby’ Lambo on the way?!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Bd2G7McqfQ

Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-1212 This is the Lamborghini Temerario! Revealed earlier this year, it’s Lamborghini’s replacement for the Huracan. Rather than a reinvention of the much-loved Huracan, it’s an all-new car – new chassis, new bodywork… New everything! However, quite a few fans weren’t happy with the Temerario. For starters, the glorious 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated engine was removed, and replaced with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 & a hybrid system! Sure the power output increased to 920hp, but the switch from RWD to AWD coupled with the loss of the incredible sound of the V10 was too much for some to handle! However, we have a sneaking suspicion that an all-new, more exclusive version of the Temerario may be in the works! Recently, Lambo’s CTO Rouven Mohr held a press conference where he stated that the Temerario’s 4-litre twin-turbo V8 may have a power output ceiling that is four figures, which is absolutely insane when you consider the output without the electrical system is already 800hp! So surely that means a limited-edition, SVJ-like Temerario must be in the works, right? Well in this video, Mat’s going to run through what this limited-edition Huracan replacement may include, from active aero through to power output… And he’ll even show off an exclusive render of what we think it will look like! The question is, are you a fan of the Temerario, and do you like our render of what the SVJ edition may look like? Let us know in the comments!

FIRST DRIVE: 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona! 670hp Muscle Car Driven

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vg6ys0D8C2o

This is a seismic moment for the American muscle car, as this new 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona is electric… Yes, combustion versions are coming – in the guise of twin-turbo 3.0-litre six-cylinder models – but the headline act for the new Charger is no longer a gas-fed V8. Not that the new electric Charger will be short on power. The EV side of the offering kick offs with 496hp in the Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, rises to 670hp in the Daytona Scat Pack driven here, and will climb higher still when next year’s Banshee model appears. 0-60mph and quarter-mile times will trounce their petrol equivalents. But is that better? This is now a four-wheel drive Charger, one sitting on the new Stellantis STLA Large platform, with a 100.5kWh battery pack to lug around. The headline power figures and acceleration times might be impressive, but what about the usual EV bugbears of excessive weight and the absence of noise? Can a silent muscle car succeed?
