But of course, it’s not on its own. We’ve brought along two of its key off-road competitors – the Land Rover Defender and Jeep Wrangler Rubicon! But is the Land Cruiser still one of the toughest cars around? Well to find out, we’re putting the three cars through a series of challenges. From an off-road drag race through to rock crawling, we’re about to see which of these three is the must-have off-roader. On the face of it, the Land Cruiser may be at a disadvantage. Not only is it the heaviest car here, at 2,520kg, but it also only produces 205hp and is on all-terrain tyres! In comparison, the Defender weighs 2,361kg, produces 300hp, and is on mud tyres. Also, the Jeep is the lightest car here at 2,028kg, puts down 272hp, and is also on mud tyres. So can the Land Cruiser upset the odds and snatch the win?
