Are you trying to install a new control arm and ball joint, but the new one seems too small, or too short? You may have one of several vehicles that adds ball joint sleeve inserts into the wheel knuckle! The sleeves often get stuck to the ball joints, and come out when you remove the control arm. Then the replacement control arm ball joint seems to not fit correctly! All you have to do is swap the sleeve over! Check out this video to see an example!
