4 Wheel Drive Selected, but Not Working! Diagnosing Vacuum Actuated 4WD Hubs

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLqMdvAKFXY

For More Info visit us at: http://1aau.to/h/cQK/ Do you have a truck or SUV with a selector switch, dial, or button to turn on 4 wheel drive? Does it seem like nothing happens when you try to use it? In this video, Andy diagnoses and then repairs the vacuum seal in a front hub on a Ford Super Duty F-350. In this application, vacuum is used to engage the front hub splines, which locks the wheel with the front drive shaft when 4 wheel drive modes are selected. Andy walks through testing the vacuum lines for leaks, and he discovers that the problem this time is in the hub itself. He replaces the vacuum seal in the hub, and then confirms the 4 wheel drive selector is working again. Check out this playlist for more great diagnostic videos:

Clicking, Tapping Engine Noise? Try This Trick Before Replacing AFM Lifters! #shorts

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fK57namo59A

For More Info visit us at: http://1aau.to/h/cPx/ Do you have a GM V8 engine that's starting to make that rattling, tapping, or clicking noise that tends to come from lifters that need help? If you're lucky, the lifters are just dirty, and haven't collapsed or failed yet, so you can try this easy fix! Andy shows you how to briefly run transmission fluid through your engine, which has additional detergents in it to help clean out places like the tight oil passages in Active Fuel Management lifters. This trick should help if the AFM lifters aren't damaged yet. If they are, you'll probably still need to replace them. Also, this trick doesn't work for bearing noise, and other engine problems. Check out more in depth diagnostic videos here!

New Brakes but Pedal is Still Soft? Check Your Brake Lines for Rust or Damage!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvoWp84_IEs

For More Info visit us at: http://1aau.to/h/cM2/ Do you have a soft, squishy brake pedal? Maybe you even just replaced your brake pads and rotors thinking that would fix it, but it's still soft anyway? Most brake lines are steel, and they can rust over time, especially if they get dinged or dented by rocks and road debris. In this video, Len does a thorough inspection of brake lines, and notices and repairs some really bad rust. Because brake fluid is pressurized, any weakening of the lines can lead to a failure of the brakes. After discovering the excessive rust damage, Len replaces the brake lines, and then does a full bleed of the braking system. Finally, he tests the brakes and finds them working properly again! Check out this playlist for more great diagnostic videos!
