Honda Civic Type R v Toyota GR Yaris: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SXc4C-c4EU

It’s time for a Japanese hot hatch showdown! We’ve got Yianni in the new Civic Type R, and he’s facing off against Mat in the GR Yaris! So let’s see how these two compare. Starting with the Type R, it’s powered by a 2-litre turbo petrol that can deliver 329hp and 420Nm of torque. It drives the front wheels via a manual gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,429kg. Then we have the GR Yaris. It’s equipped with a 1.6-litre 3-cylinder turbo that can put down 261hp and 360Nm. Just like the Type R, it’s a manual, and it tips the scales at 1,280kg. However, it has one key advantage over the Type R – it’s four-wheel drive! Does this mean it’ll be a clean sweep for the GR Yaris? Or will the additional power of the Type R push it to victory? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! My car HERO reveals new £2M V12 supercar!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1kXclXVuCE

Introducing the Gordon Murray T.33 Spider! This is the spider edition of the previously revealed T.33, and it has one pretty big claim to fame – it’s the only open-top V12 supercar in the world with a manual transmission! The T.33 Spider is an elegant beast – you won’t find any outlandish vents or wings here! Everything you see serves a purpose and works in harmony to deliver the best performance possible. The engine is an absolute triumph too. This Cosworth-built 3.9-litre V12 is the lightest V12 in the world, and in this T.33 Spider, it delivers 617hp through the rear wheels, enabling this open top to reach a top speed of 208mph! What’s more, it also redlines at an incredible 11,100rpm! It’s a good thing it’s the lightest V12 in the world, as the T.33 Spider has been designed to be as lightweight as possible – it tips the scales at just 1,100kg!! So it looks great, and the specs are mighty impressive. The question is, should you really pay an eye-watering £1,890,000 for one?! Stick with Mat and Gordon for this excellent walk-around review!

New BMW M2 review with 0-60mph & auto vs manual!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkjT_jNYI4w

This is the all-new BMW M2! Mat’s headed over to America to get his hands on this all-new sports coupe, and he’s about to find out if it’s a worthy successor to the previous M2, and whether it can compete with the likes of the Porsche Cayman or even the M3! Well when it comes to the design, it’s had a serious overhaul over the regular 2 Series. It’s got a large squared kidney grille up front, bulging wheel arches over the side, a carbon fibre roof and quad tailpipes at the back. All-in-all, it’s certainly meaner and more aggressive than the regular 2 Series. It’s a similar story on the inside, with several changes made over the standard car. As you’d expect there’s a smattering of M tricolour to be found throughout, a fair bit of carbon fibre, and M-specific digital dial graphics. It also comes with sport bucket seats. Then let’s take a look under the bonnet! It comes with the same 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six as found in the M3, but the output has been dialled down slightly, so it’ll produce 460hp and 550Nm of torque. This power is delivered to the rear wheels only, and unlike the M3, you can pick the M2 up as either a manual or an automatic! The price starts from around £65,000, but is it really worth it? There’s only one way to find out – stick with Mat for this all-new review! Chapters

840hp AMG GT v 760hp AMG EQS: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESojadT_fAA

How’s this for an AMG vs AMG line-up?! We’ve got Mat in the most powerful petrol-powered AMG, the GT 63 S E-Performance 4 Door, and he’s going up against Yianni in the AMG EQS 53! So let’s see how these two behemoths compare. Starting with the GT, it’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with an electric motor. They combine to produce 843hp and an incredible 1,400Nm! It’s pretty heavy, though, tipping the scales at 2,305kg. And it’s super expensive, with a new one costing at least £174,000!! Then we have the EQS. It’s equipped with dual electric motors which combine to put down 761hp and 1,020Nm. Amazingly, it’s heavier than the GT, coming in at 2,580kg. But it is a bit cheaper, costing ‘only’ £161,000. So what do we think – a clean sweep for petrol power? Or could the EQS snatch it? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
