Compare the best new & used car deals with Carwow: https://bit.ly/-New-Car-Deals-3101 Meet the updated Mercedes big daddy SUV – the GLS! Mercedes has given its largest SUV a mid-life facelift, and Mat’s got his hands on this behemoth to find out what’s changed and whether it can compete with the likes of the BMW X7 and Range Rover! When it comes to the exterior design… Well, not a whole lot has changed! Around the rear, you’ll find some of the most obvious fake exhausts in the business, while there’s also some updated lights and a new bumper. Along the side, the only changes are new alloy designs, and upfront, the most notable difference is the huge grille – which is definitely an improvement on the old model! Step inside and the similarities to the previous gen continue, but thankfully it’s still a pretty luxurious place to sit. There’s a huge digital dial screen (with lots of customisation available) coupled with a big infotainment screen in the centre of the dash. There’s a fair bit of storage throughout the cabin, and the seats are super comfortable. What’s more, bar a few small areas, pretty much everything is coated in soft-touch materials. There are four engines to choose from with the new GLS. At the start of the range, you can pick a 3-litre straight-six turbo petrol or diesel, and these deliver 380hp and 370hp respectively. At the top-of-the-range is the AMG GLS 63, which is packing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can put down 612hp. All cars come with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive. So it sounds pretty impressive, but there’s one issue – the starting price is around £108,000! So is it worth it?! You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters

Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-For-Free-30-01 It’s time for a diesel vs electric showdown! We’ve got Mat in a tuned last-generation BMW 335d Touring, and it’s going up against a new Tesla Model 3 and a BMW M340d! So let’s see how the cars compare. Starting with the 335d, it’s powered by a 3-litre straight-six twin-turbo diesel that’s had a stage two tune. As a result, the 313hp and 730Nm power output have been increased to 386hp and 812Nm! Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,735kg. On the far side, we have the M340d. It’s packing a 3-litre straight-six twin-turbo diesel that can produce 340hp and 700Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,870kg. Then finally we have the Tesla. It’s the long-range edition, and it comes equipped with two motors that can put down 490hp and 490Nm. Naturally, power is sent to all four wheels, and it weighs in at 1,840kg. So how will this one play out? Could the tuned BMW snatch it? Or will it be an easy win for the Tesla? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! Thanks to https://www.instagram.com/dna_autohaus for lending us the M340d!

Toyota C-HR review: The best-looking car of 2024?!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qj-15ep_Cg

Compare the best new & used car deals with Carwow: https://bit.ly/New-Car-Deals-2901 Meet the all-new Toyota C-HR! Toyota has revamped this small crossover SUV, and Mat’s about to find out if it can compete with class leaders like the Volkswagen T-Roc and Ford Puma. When it comes to the design, the C-HR has had an overhaul and we think it looks great! It now comes with a sporty & futuristic design, from the spoiler effect with the rear lights through to the sleek & slim headlights at the front. The sloping roofline helps add to the sporty looks, and we’re happy to say there aren’t any fake exhausts or vents to be found. Step inside and the high-quality feel continues. There are soft-touch materials high up on the doors and the dash, and it’s also contoured to help it stand out a bit more. All but the entry-level cars get a big infotainment screen, and there’s also a set of digital dials for the driver. We’re also very happy that Toyota has left some physical climate control buttons, rather than including everything on the infotainment screen. There is a choice of two self-charging hybrid C-HRs. One comes with a 1.8-litre petrol engine that can produce 140hp, and the other comes with a 2-litre petrol engine that can put down 197hp. There’s also a plug-in hybrid model, and this also comes with a 2-litre petrol and it can produce 223hp. The price range kicks off at £31,000, rising to around £43,000 for the top-of-the-range C-HR. So is it worth it?! You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters
