What’s more, even though it’s pretty heavy (weighing in at 2.4 tonnes), it can still hit 60mph in just 2.4 seconds! However, the Lucid Air hasn’t just been produced for performance. Mat’s rolled up to our latest drag race in an all-electric Kia EV6, and he’s going up against a Ferrari F355 to see whether a mid-level EV can match up to a supercar from the ‘90s! Now you might think it’s a foregone conclusion, but these cars are more evenly matched than you may think! Starting with the EV6, it’s equipped with dual electric motors that can deliver 325hp & 605Nm of torque. It powers all four wheels, and it tips the scales at 2,090kg. Then we have the Ferrari. It’s a whole lot lighter than the Kia, weighing in at 1,350kg. It’s also powered by a 3.5-litre naturally-aspirated V8, that’s good for 380hp & 360Nm. However, it has two potential disadvantages. ……………………………………………………. This is the all-new Hyundai Ioniq 6! It’s an all-electric saloon coming in from Korea, and based on looks alone, it’s fair to say we are very excited! For starters, just look at it! Following in the footsteps of the IONIQ 5, Hyundai has yet another great-looking car on its hands. It’s got strong concept car vibes and looks pretty futuristic from the front bumper through to the rear. On the inside, the good looks continue, although it’s much more subtle and sophisticated compared to the exterior. There are a number of physical buttons, coupled with a relatively simple dual-screen infotainment system. In terms of performance, there are likely to be a number of battery and motor options, with the range-topper packing a 77kWh battery pack along with dual motors, which should deliver 306hp.
