F1 Car vs World’s FASTEST Hypercars: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCzCqqVGQYE

Thanks to everyone for joining us for this race: – Red Bull: @redbullracing – Rimac: https://www.instagram.com/rimac_automobili/
- McMurtry: https://www.instagram.com/mcmurtryautomotive/ Get ready for the most exciting drag race in carwow history! We’ve got the World Championship-winning Red Bull RB8 going up against the 1,914hp Rimac Nevera and the Goodwood Hillclimb record-holding McMurtry Spéirling! So let’s see how these marvellous machines compare. Starting with the Rimac, it’s equipped with four electric motors that can produce an eye-watering 1,914hp and 2,360Nm of torque. It’s packing a 120kWh battery pack, so as a result it’s pretty heavy, tipping the scales at around 2,300kg. And as you can imagine, all of that power doesn’t come cheap, with the Nevera costing around £2,000,000! Alongside it we have the McMurtry. This single-seater EV is a whole lot lighter than the Rimac, weighing in at just 1,000kg. It’s also equipped with two electric motors that produce around 1,000hp, while also packing an incredible fan system that helps to generate 2,000kg of downforce! As a result, it can shoot off from the line like nothing you’ve ever seen before! But there’s a catch – it’s limited to a top speed of only 150mph… Then finally we have the F1 car, driven by Red Bull’s reserve driver, Liam Lawson. He’s driving Sebastian Vettel’s Championship-winning RB8, which is equipped with a 2.4-litre V8 that can produce 800hp. It’s easily the lightest car here, at around 700kg, and all power is sent to the rear wheels only. So it’s an absolutely incredible line-up, but will electric power triumph?! Or will the F1 car prove victorious? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE! NEW BMW M5 goes hybrid with 830hp!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8QFkd9b630

Say hello to the all-new BMW M5… Well, kind of! Our in-house team of experts has created video footage of what we think the all-new M5 will look like, and based on past experience like with our render of the Lamborghini Revuelto, we’re pretty confident that these early impressions are on the money! But how did our team come to this conclusion? Well for starters, let’s go back to the beginning. When you look at old M5s, they remained pretty similar to the standard 5 Series. But over the years, the M5s have strayed further and further away from the normal car, with the latest M5s coming with crazy bodykits, massive wheels, and of course, quad tailpipes. So we’re expecting BMW to continue and intensify this trend for the new M5! We’re expecting it to come with a redesigned front bumper, a massive air intake up front (similar to the new M2) along with a new splitter. There will probably also be widened wheel arches, updated suspension, and a massive diffuser around the back flanked by a pair of dual exhausts. Here’s the thing though, we know that the new M5 is set to be a hybrid, and we know it’ll come equipped with the 197hp motor from the XM. But thankfully, it’s still going to be packing a full-fat 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet! And to ensure the extra weight brought in by the battery & motor doesn’t impact performance, we have a feeling the power output could be considerably increased – to over 820hp, making it the fastest BMW road car of all time!! But how can we be so sure? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!
