Meet the Mercedes CLE! It’s an all-new car that rolls up as a replacement for the C-Class Coupe, C-Class Cabriolet, E-Class Coupe & E-Class Cabriolet… That’s right, four cars rolled into one! The question is, does this approach offer enough to strike fear into BMW and Audi? Well let’s take a look over the car. Starting with the design, it’s certainly pretty striking! Up top there’s a newly-designed, big grille, which is flanked either side by newly-designed, thinner headlights. Around the side you’ll find some cool alloy designs, and around the back Mercedes has gone for a simpler design than other new cars in its line-up… But that’s no bad thing! Sure, the side profile looks relatively similar to the outgoing C-Class, but all-in-all there’s no denying this is a good-looking car! Step inside and the interior seems all-too familiar to the current C-Class. But just like the side profile, this is no bad thing, as the interior is absolutely gorgeous! Not only will you find a huge infotainment screen stretching up from the centre console to the dash, you’ll also be treated to a number of colour combinations, along with a cabin swamped with soft-touch materials. This is one seriously impressive interior! When it comes to engines, there are a number of petrol and diesel options to choose from. The entry-level is the CLE 200, which is a 2-litre 4 cylinder coupled with an EV motor to deliver around 200hp. The range-topper will be the CLE 450, which should be able to deliver 381hp from a 3-litre 6-cylinder engine! It should also propel you to 60mph in about 4.4-seconds. What’s more, we expect an AMG edition to be unveiled in the future, which is likely to come equipped with the same 6-cylinder engine that’s being developed for the forthcoming E63. With that in mind, we expect it to be able to produce at least 700hp!! So what do you think, was this a masterstroke by Mercedes to combine these cars? Or should they have kept the C & E-Class coupes separate? Let us know below! Chapters

Thanks to https://www.instagram.com/r44erd/ for lending us their M3! It’s time for the drag race you didn’t realise you needed… Until today! We’ve got our hands on an all-new, 1,111hp Lucid Air Dream Performance, and it’s about to go head-to-head against a BMW M3! So normally you would say this will be a slam dunk for the Lucid, after all, a stock BMW M3 comes equipped with a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six which is good for 510hp and 650Nm. However, while this M3 comes with the same engine, it’s been tuned and can now deliver an impressive 750hp and 900Nm! All this power is sent through the same 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,780kg. So then we have the Lucid. It’s equipped with two electric motors, and they combine to produce an eye-watering 1,111hp and 1,390Nm of torque. But of course, being an EV, it’s pretty damn heavy, tipping the scales at 2,383kg. It’s also SO much more expensive than the BMW, rolling up with a price tag of over £193,000!! So will the more powerful Lucid snatch the W? Or will the weight difference prove decisive? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! Thanks to everyone for lending us cars for this video: – Audi A3: https://www.sixt.co.uk/
- BMW 1 Series: https://zen.auto/ When it comes to luxurious small family cars, it doesn’t get better than the Mercedes A-Class, Audi A3, BMW 1 Series and Volkswagen Golf. The question is if you’re in the market for a car such as this, which should you go for? Well thankfully Mat’s got his hands on all four and he’s going to put them all to the test! So let’s take a look at how the four compare. Starting with the Mercedes, it’s recently had a mid-life facelift, so it comes with a few changes compared to the original 2018 release. There’s a redesigned lower bumper, a bigger grille, and a new steering wheel on the inside. Apart from the clearly fake exhausts around the back, it looks pretty smart, and the infotainment & digital dial display is easily the best of the four cars here. When it comes to price, the range kicks off at £32,000. Next up we have the Audi, which comes with a cheaper starting price than the Mercedes, at £27,000. When it comes to the design it looks pretty smart from the outside, with a huge grille up front which is flanked by two sharp, well-designed headlights. There are creases around the side, and it looks relatively plain around the back. Step inside and although the infotainment system is quite good, there are lots of scratchy plastics to be found throughout the cabin. The BMW’s next in line, and it has one thing no other cars here have – real exhaust tips on show! All-in-all the 1 Series looks quite smart on the outside, although we’re not a fan of the grille up front Thankfully though the interior quality makes up for this, with high-quality materials found throughout the cabin along with a high-quality infotainment system on the dash. However, the same can’t be said for the digital dials, which seem a bit basic and dark. When it comes to price, the 1 Series kicks off at around £28,000. Then finally we have the cheapest car here, with the Golf range starting at around £26,500. On the outside, it’s unmistakably a Golf, and although we really like the design around the rear and side, we think the front end could be the worst-looking of the four cars here! Thankfully the interior looks really smart and clean, but these looks come at a price, with nearly all functionality coming through the infotainment screen… What’s so wrong with physical buttons?! So can you pick a winner, or are the four too evenly matched? Let us know which you would pick in the comments, or stick around and join Mat for this all-new group test! Chapters

- BMW M5: https://www.instagram.com/dna_autohaus/
- BMW M5: @DNAAUTOHAUS – AMG E63: https://www.instagram.com/exclusiveautos_/
- AMG E63: @exclusiveautos6770 We’ve got our hands on the all-new Audi RS6 Performance, and it’s about to go head-to-head against its key competitors, the BMW M5 Competition and Mercedes-AMG E63 S! Think this line-up seems familiar? Well, that’s because it is – we’ve done this race before! The question is, will the all-new RS6 have what it takes to bring down the competition? Well, let’s first find out by checking out the stats. Starting with the RS6, it’s powered by the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as before, but the power has been dialled up, and it now produces an amazing 630hp and 850Nm of torque! This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, however, the car is the heaviest in this line-up, tipping the scales at 2,090kg! It’s also the most expensive car here, with a price tag of around £113,000. Alongside it, we have the BMW. It’s packing a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, which is good for 625hp and 750Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed torque converter gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,865kg. It’s also slightly cheaper than the RS6, at around £111,000. Then finally we have the AMG. It’s actually the least powerful car here, with its 4-litre twin-turbo V8 putting down 612hp and 850Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed multi-clutch gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,950kg. It’s the cheapest car in this line-up, too, costing around £106,000. So will the most powerful car win it? Or will the BMW’s incredible launch system propel it to victory? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! There are absolutely loads of supercars at this event, with pretty much every supercar brand making an appearance of some description – Porsche, Lambo, McLaren, Ferrari and even Bugatti… They’re all there! The question is, how exactly do the owners afford to buy these incredibly expensive cars? Well, Mat’s about to find out! He’s going to speak to a whole host of car owners at the event to find out what they do for work to be able to afford these incredible machines. But not only that, he’s going to put them to the test to find out how much they really know about their car! The question is, will he find a car worth more than the most expensive car he’s ever drag raced, a Koenigsegg Agera RS?! You’ll need to keep watching to see for yourself!
