Check out the 911 GT3: @Driftworks RWD supercar drag race let’s goooo!!! Mat’s lining up in the Huracan STO, and he’s going up against a Ferrari 488 Pista & a Porsche 911 GT3! So let’s see how these supercars compare. Starting with the Lambo, it comes packing a mid-mounted 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that can put down 640hp & 565Nm. It tips the scales at 1,440kg. Next up we have the Ferrari, which is equipped with a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces way more than the Lambo – 720hp & 770Nm! It’s heavier, though, weighing in at 1,485kg. Then finally we have the GT3. It’s the lightest car here, at 1,435kg, but it’s also the least powerful, with its 4-litre flat-six putting down 510hp & 470Nm. Too close to call? Mat’s got his hands on a Ford Transit MS-RT, and he’s going head-to-head against a Mercedes Vito! So which will come out on top? It’s the ‘M-Lite’ version of the new BMW 2 Series coupe, and in this review, Mat’s going to find out if it’s worth the £46,000 starting price, or whether you should hold out and wait for the upcoming BMW M2 instead. For starters, let’s see what powers this all-new sports coupe. Under the bonnet, you’ll find a 3-litre straight-six turbocharged petrol engine that can deliver 374hp & 500Nm! What’s more, they also drive all four wheels and BMW claims it helps propel the M240i to 60mph in 4.3 seconds! In terms of design, there are a number of differences to the standard 2 Series. There’s a sportier bumper at the back coupled with wheel arch extensions around the side. You’ll also find bigger air intakes and a larger bumper upfront. And naturally, there are multiple M badges across the car. The M badges continue once you’re inside, too, with M stitching on the seat belts which support you in the all-new sports seats! Otherwise, the interior is well designed and comes with quality materials throughout. So what do you think – is the M240i the must-have BMW sports coupe?
