New Mercedes E-Class review: The most high-tech Mercedes EVER!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaDuKbiL9NU

This is the all-new Mercedes E-Class! Mat’s flown over to Vienna to take a closer look at Mercedes’s BMW 5 Series competitor, and he’s about to find out just how much the E-Class has evolved over the previous generation. Starting with the design, it’s fair to say it looks pretty similar to the previous edition. Starting around the back, it looks pretty smart with a chrome strip running along the whole of the car, along with a pair of smart-looking three-pointed star lights. So it looks pretty good, although it’s let down by some incredibly fake-looking exhausts! Along the side, the new E-Class is available with alloys that range from 17 to 21 inches, and it has some sleek pop-out door handles. Head round to the front and the E-Class comes with an all-new grille, however, the overall design is still pretty similar to the last gen. Step inside and the changes are much more noticeable, starting with the huge super screen that stretches across the entire dash! It comes with three screens, with digital dials for the driver, a bespoke screen for the passenger, and a central infotainment screen. You can download third-party apps such as TikTok and Zoom, while the driver’s display comes with all-new 3D effects! You’ll find high-quality materials throughout the majority of the cabin, although there are a few cheaper bits of plastic to be found. The seats are also pretty comfortable, and there's loads of headroom and space for passengers in the back. There are several engines to choose from. The entry-level is the E200, which is available as either petrol or diesel and comes with a 2-litre turbo engine that delivers around 200hp. There’s also an E450 that’s equipped with a 3-litre straight-six turbo that can put down 380hp. Then there are a couple of plug-in hybrids available, with the range-topper being the E400e which comes with a 2-litre turbocharged engine coupled with an electric motor that can put down 380hp. All cars come equipped with a 9-speed automatic gearbox, and the plug-in hybrids come with a 20kWh battery which is good for a range of up to 70 miles. Mercedes hasn’t confirmed the price yet, but you can expect it to start from around £50,000. But will it be worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters

This is the greatest Audi RS EVER!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDaghfes-0c

This is the all-new Audi RS6 Performance! Audi has updated the oh-so popular RS6 for 2023, and Mat’s about to find out just what has changed over the previous edition. Starting with the design, the changes over the previous generation are minor – but that’s no bad thing! Across the front, back and sides, what was previously chrome trim has now changed to Matt grey, and the Audi badge at the front has now been blackened out. The car also comes with 22-inch alloys as standard. But otherwise, that’s all that’s changed! However, should you choose to go for the carbon pack, then the matt grey trim can be swapped to carbon instead. Step inside and it’s a similar story to the exterior design. You’ll now find alcantara on the steering wheel, as well as blue stitching across the seats and seatbelts. You’ll also find some slightly updated dials and some additional tech, such as surround view camera, but otherwise the RS6 Performance is the same as the previous generation. However, one area that has experienced quite a big change is the car’s performance! Although it comes with the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as before, it’s had bigger turbos fitted to it. As a result, horsepower and torque have been increased by 30hp & 50Nm respectively, meaning the car now produced 630hp and 850Nm! But of course, all these changes don’t come cheap. The Audi RS6 Performance starts at £20,000 more than the previous edition, meaning you’ll be paying from £113,000 to pick one up! So is it worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters
