The VW ID Buzz has just killed the SUV! Review.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqzlQRL4qso

Introducing the all-new Volkswagen ID Buzz! It’s a family-friendly people carrier that’s out to buck the trend of MPVs being ugly and uncool. The question is, has it been successful? Well for starters, let’s check out the design, where it’s clear to see that the ID Buzz easily stands out among the crowd! Not only does it look great in this two-tone paint job, but there are a number of exterior features that help enhance its look and feel even more. Around the back, you’ve got wrap-around tail lights and a full-length light bar along with a mini spoiler. There are big creases all along the side, and the wrap-around headlights up top mirror what you see around the back. There’s also a super cool grille design, coupled with the largest VW badge in its entire range! The good looks continue on the inside, too. There’s the option to have the same two-tone design as found outside, and there are a number of cool little features on the dash and in the door pockets that really lift the look and feel. The dash has a big infotainment screen, although the system isn’t that great. On the flip side, though, the interior is packed full with loads of different storage areas. When it comes to performance, the ID Buzz comes with a single electric motor driving the rear wheels to deliver 204hp. It comes with a 77kWh battery pack which is good for a claimed range of 258 miles. A dual-motor edition is on the way, too, which will be good for 299hp. All-in-all the ID Buzz will start from £57,000. But what do you think – is it worth it? Or does it just look a bit too weird for your liking? Let us know in the comments! Chapters

New Porsche 911: Beats a Range Rover off-road!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hq32HAHAl-s

Introducing the Porsche 911 Dakar! That’s right, it’s an all-new 911, but this is far different to any 911 we’ve seen before. It’s a jacked-up variant of the 992 Carrera 4S, and it’s been designed for rallying instead of race tracks! So what do you get with the 911 Dakar? Let’s start off with the design. This 911 has had a whole load of features added to it to make it suitable to handle a number of different terrains. There are stainless steel skid plates across the front, sides and rear, coupled with some stainless steel air intake covers upfront. There are a unique fixed spoiler around the back, some black plastic wheel arch extensions, along with the carbon fibre-reinforced bonnet from the 911 GT3. Naturally, there are a number of other modifications, too. The ride height has been increased by 50mm (with the option to increase by a further 30mm available), along with some heavy-duty, specially-developed Pirelli Scorpion tyres. It also comes with bespoke driving modes, such as off-road mode, rally mode and rally launch control. The inside looks traditionally Porsche, but with a number of changes. The most notable change? The back seats have been ripped out and replaced by a roll cage! There are also some deep bucket seats, and a whole load of 911 Dakar badging throughout. Interested? Well, you’ll need to be quick! Only 2,500 911 Dakars will be built, and they’ll cost from £173,000 each! But is it worth it?! You’ll have to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters:

This car blows my mind!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFeZz6U-cG8

This is the ORA Funky Cat! It’s an all-new electric car from China, and Mat’s about to find out if it has what it takes to rival established brands such as MINI & VW in the small electric car category! Upon first glance, you may be forgiven for thinking the car looks recognisable. For example, look at it from the rear and it looks similar to a Fiat 500, while from the front it looks pretty similar to the MINI Electric! Clearly the designers must have been influenced by the cars they’re going up against, but that’s not exactly a bad thing! The inside is pretty well laid out as well. There are good quality materials across the dash and on the doors, and there are two decently sized screens to house the infotainment system and digital dials. They may not be the most intuitive systems, but they work well enough for the size of car. One key selling point is the tech that comes inclusive! There’s only one trim level available for this car, so that means that things such as electronically controlled seats and 360 parking cameras come as standard. The car is powered by a 48kWh battery pack along with a single electric motor. This can produce 171hp while it’s good for a claimed range of 193 miles. That’s well up on a MINI Electric, but a fair bit lower than the likes of a VW ID.3. The ORA Funky Cat costs from £32,000. But does it offer enough to tempt you away from the more established competition? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters
