Get 20% off Car Vertical using code Carwow: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Car-Vertical This is the all-new Fiat Grande Panda! Fiat has really embraced a retro aesthetic with the new Granda Panda, and at first glance, we think it looks absolutely great! But is it more style over substance? Or are you better off choosing a competitor such as the Hyundai Inster or Renault 5? Let’s take a closer look… The exterior design of the Grande Panda will easily help it stand out on any street, especially in this bright yellow paint job! From the front end, the blocky-styled headlights and front end give it an almost Minecraft-like look, but that’s no bad thing! Along the side, there’s a huge Panda logo embossed across the doors, and little Fiat badges and emblems are found throughout. The range-topping car we have here also comes with roof rails and a blacked-out rear window. Around the back, the retro-inspired, blocky design continues, with a 3D Panda badge, block-shaped rear taillights, and additional plastic trim. Step inside and the Grande Panda continues to impress. The retro, blocky style continues, as found with the air vents and the padded (as well as comfortable!) seats. There are bamboo/wood-effect materials across the dash, as well as a large dual digital dial & infotainment screen. The system and customisation of the dials may be quite basic, but it’s about what you would expect from a car at this price point. The same can be said for the materials throughout most of the cabin, but it’s a similar story when you look at this car’s key competitors. The Grande Panda is available as either an ICE or EV. If you want petrol power, you can choose a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that comes with front-wheel drive and 110hp. If you want an EV, you’ll find a single motor under the bonnet that drives the front wheels and delivers 113hp. In terms of price, a petrol-powered Grande Panda starts from just £18,995, while the electric edition starts from £21,035. If you want to choose the range-topping EV (like the one in this video), it’ll only cost you £24,035! So is the EV the right choice? You’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself! Aston Martin Valkyrie v Vanquish v V12 Vantage: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X79zt2NQwsk

Our merch store is now LIVE: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Merchandise It’s time for the ultimate Aston Martin showdown!!!
We’ve got our hands on a whole load of Britain’s finest, and they’re all about to go head-to-head across the 1/4-mile through the generations. The question is, will the almighty Valkyrie prove to be the ultimate Aston Martin? Let’s take a closer look at the contenders. First up we have the Rapide against a 2010 Vantage. Both cars are powered by a 5.9-litre naturally-aspirated V12, with the Rapide producing 477hp and 600Nm, while the Vantage puts down 517hp and 570Nm. Both cars send power to the rear wheels, and the Vantage is lightest, at 1,680kg. Up next we have the DBS. It comes with the same engine, same power output and an almost identical weight at the Vantage, but while the Vantage was a 6-speed manual, the DBS is a 6-speed auto! Following the DBS, we have a 2014 Vanquish. As with the previous contenders it’s packing a 5.9-litre naturally-aspirated V12, but this edition produces 573hp and 620Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed auto, and it tips the scales at 1,739kg. Up next will be the DBX 707. It’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and as the name suggests, it creates 707hp coupled with 900Nm. It’s equipped with a 9-speed auto, four wheel drive, and it’s the heaviest car here at 2,245kg. Then we move into the newer supercars. First up it’s the new V8 Vantage, which is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that creates 665hp and 800Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels, and it weighs in at 1,670kg. This will be followed by the new V12 Vantage, which is packing a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 that puts down 700hp and 752Nm. Once again power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed auto, with the car weighing in at 1,795kg. The penultimate contender will be the new Vanquish. It’s packing the same 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 as the Vantage, but here it creates 835hp and 1000Nm. It’s equipped with an 8-speed auto which sends the power to the rear wheels, and it tips the scales at 1,835kg. Finally, we come to the ultimate Aston Martin – the Valkyrie. It’s packing an incredible 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 as well as an electric motor, and this creates an almighty 1,155hp and 900Nm. This is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed sequential gearbox, and the car weighs only 1,370kg. It’s also by far the most expensive car here, costing from £2,500,000! So will the Valkyrie perform when the pressure’s on? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-0811

I almost broke the new McLaren Artura

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lnilf3h5i7g

Get 20% off Car Vertical using code Carwow: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Car-Vertical This is the new McLaren Artura Spider! That’s right – McLaren has finally released a convertible version of its hybrid sports car. However, while the roof may have changed, much of the rest of the car is the same. So the question is, does the Spider edition warrant the £221,500 price tag, when the standard Artura ‘only’ costs £202,000? Let’s take a closer look… In terms of the design, the exterior is almost identical to the standard Artura – but that’s not exactly a bad thing! This means the front end has several vents, with each one serving a purpose. Along the side, you realise just how low down the car is, and there are huge air vents to be found on either side. Around the back, there are yet more vents to help cool the engine, as well as a large diffuser. All in, it looks pretty stunning! On the inside, the Artura Spider is super minimalistic. Most of the functionality is controlled through a small infotainment screen, although to be honest, it can be a bit laggy. The centre console holds buttons for the drive selector, and there’s a set of digital dials that move along with the steering column. The materials throughout the cabin are all well-made and feel expensive, but what more would you expect from a car that costs this much! The Artura Spider is powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo V6 coupled with an electric motor. It’s the same engine as in the standard Artura, but the power has been increased by 20hp, so it now produces a total of 700hp! This power is sent to the rear wheels only via an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. So is the Artura Spider the best choice? Or should you choose a different convertible sports car instead? Stick with Mat to see for yourself! China absolutely NAILED IT with this car

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsH0V04-yBs

Get 20% off Car Vertical using code Carwow: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Car-Vertical Chery is a Chinese car manufacturer that’s also the parent company of two car brands you may have heard of – Jaecoo and Omoda. However, following the release of several Jaecoo & Omoda cars in the UK, Chery has now unveiled two cars of its own – the 5-seater Chery Tiggo 7, and the car we have here, the 7-seater Chery Tiggo 8! Now, before we get into it, there’s one thing you need to know about the Tiggo 8 – the price! You see, the entry-level car starts from just £28,545, while the range-topping PHEV we have here costs just £33,545! The question is, are you better off choosing the Tiggo 8 over more expensive (and more established) European brands? Let’s take a closer look… Starting with the design, the Tiggo 8 certainly has a premium look and feel. At the front, there’s a large, diamond-like grille, flanked on either side by real air vents. Along the side, all versions of the car get satin roof rails and chrome surrounds on the windows, and each door comes with pop-out door handles. At the back, there’s a full-length light bar, but there’s one key issue – a pair of some of the fakest exhaust pipes we’ve seen for some time! Step inside and you’ll find a well-built cabin. There are soft-touch materials across the dash and high up on the doors, and the seats for both the driver and passenger are very comfortable. There’s a large infotainment screen in the centre of the dashboard that is easy to use and very responsive. If you pay for the upgraded ‘Summit’ model, the car comes packed full of features and tech, including ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and heated & ventilated seats in the front and middle rows! The entry-level Tiggo 8 is powered by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine that can deliver 147hp. The car we have here is the hybrid, which is equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine coupled with an 18kWh battery, and these combine to produce 204hp. The hybrid is also good for a claimed range of 56 miles driving on EV power alone. So, for those of you looking for a 7-seater SUV, should the Chery Tiggo 8 be at the top of your wish list? You’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself!
