……………………………………………………. This is the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S, and Mat’s on hand to see if this almighty SUV has what it takes to go head-to-head with the BMW X5M! Given it's an AMG performance SUV, there’s one thing we need to address first – the engine! Peer underneath the GLE’s big bonnet and you’ll find a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, with the ability to put down 612hp and an almighty 850Nm of torque! It also drives all four wheels thanks to a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, and it’s claimed to be able to hit 60mph in 3.8 seconds. So in the performance stakes, the GLE 63 can clearly go toe-to-toe with the best of them! But that’s not all – it can easily couple as a more than capable family car, too! With a gigantic 630-litre boot, coupled with a whole load of room in the back, you certainly won’t be short for space once you step inside this new SUV. The Model S Long Range has (in case the name didn't give it away…) superior range, with the ability to last 388 miles on a single charge, while the Audi only has a claimed range of 283 miles. However the Audi has the upper hand when it comes to charging, with the ability to charge at up to 270kWh… If the driver can find a fast enough charger! Toyota’s legendary 4×4 has undergone a makeover (even if it doesn’t look that different to the old edition!) and Mat’s here to run you through the key changes. For starters, if you’re in Europe or the US and you’re looking to get your hands on one, then we’re afraid you’re all out of luck – this is one 4×4 that isn't heading your way! The Land Cruiser 300 is set to only release in the Middle East & Russia, for the time being at least. But either way, what’s new? Well for starters, the V8 is gone! Instead, you now have two V6s to choose from – a 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol, and a 3-litre 6 cylinder diesel. Neither are too short on power though, delivering 415hp & 309hp respectively! As for the interior, well it’s had a thorough makeover, with an all-new dashboard design and a huge central touchscreen up front! And as before, you can get the Land Cruiser with either 5 or 7 seats. Thanks to it being packed with 4 electric motors (one for each wheel), the Nevera can produce a ridiculous 1,914hp and a colossal 2,360Nm of torque! That’s not all though! It’s also fitted with a 120kWh battery pack (the largest in any production EV in the world) and then there's just the small matter of it apparently being the quickest accelerating car in the world!! So, that’s a whole load of lofty claims… And we're only just scratching the surface! But let's be honest, what more would you expect from a car that costs around £2,000,000! But is it worth it?
