Mat’s rolled up to the start line a Porsche Cayman GTS, and he’s going head-to-head with an Alpine A110 S & a Toyota Supra! So let’s see how they compare. Starting with Mat’s Cayman GTS, it’s powered by a 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six that puts down 400hp & 420Nm. It weighs in at 1,405kg and will cost you around £65,000. It’s got one big issue though – it’s a manual! Alongside him, we have the Alpine A110 S. Under the bonnet you’ll find a 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine, although it’s noticeably down on power compared to the Porsche, putting down 290hp & 320Nm. However, it’s an automatic, and it’s oh-so light, tipping the scales at just 1,114kg! Then finally we have the Supra. With a 3-litre straight-six BMW engine under the bonnet, it’ll produce 340hp & 500Nm, and just like the Alpine, it’s automatic. It’s the heaviest car here, though, weighing 1,495kg.
