Get 20% off Car Vertical using code Carwow: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Car-Vertical Chery is a Chinese car manufacturer that’s also the parent company of two car brands you may have heard of – Jaecoo and Omoda. However, following the release of several Jaecoo & Omoda cars in the UK, Chery has now unveiled two cars of its own – the 5-seater Chery Tiggo 7, and the car we have here, the 7-seater Chery Tiggo 8! Now, before we get into it, there’s one thing you need to know about the Tiggo 8 – the price! You see, the entry-level car starts from just £28,545, while the range-topping PHEV we have here costs just £33,545! The question is, are you better off choosing the Tiggo 8 over more expensive (and more established) European brands? Let’s take a closer look… Starting with the design, the Tiggo 8 certainly has a premium look and feel. At the front, there’s a large, diamond-like grille, flanked on either side by real air vents. Along the side, all versions of the car get satin roof rails and chrome surrounds on the windows, and each door comes with pop-out door handles. At the back, there’s a full-length light bar, but there’s one key issue – a pair of some of the fakest exhaust pipes we’ve seen for some time! Step inside and you’ll find a well-built cabin. There are soft-touch materials across the dash and high up on the doors, and the seats for both the driver and passenger are very comfortable. There’s a large infotainment screen in the centre of the dashboard that is easy to use and very responsive. If you pay for the upgraded ‘Summit’ model, the car comes packed full of features and tech, including ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and heated & ventilated seats in the front and middle rows! The entry-level Tiggo 8 is powered by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine that can deliver 147hp. The car we have here is the hybrid, which is equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine coupled with an 18kWh battery, and these combine to produce 204hp. The hybrid is also good for a claimed range of 56 miles driving on EV power alone. So, for those of you looking for a 7-seater SUV, should the Chery Tiggo 8 be at the top of your wish list? You’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself! I expose the TRUTH about the Porsche 911 GT3 RS

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usQiSjKFaso

Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-311025 We’ve got our hands on a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and it’s going up against a standard Porsche 911 GT3 and a Porsche GT3 Touring! The question is, what will come out on top, let’s take a closer look at the stats… Starting with the GT3 RS, it’s powered by a 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six engine that can deliver 525hp and 465Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and it weighs in at just 1,450kg. But while it’s relatively low on weight, it comes with a hefty price tag, with prices starting from £192,600! Then we have the standard GT3. It’s go 4-litre flat-six slung over the rear axle, that can put down 510hp and 450Nm of torque. It’s slightly heavier than the GT3 RS, at 1,479kg, and the cost of the car is around £158,200. Finally, we have the GT3 Touring. It also has the same 4-litre flat-six as the standard GT3 that produces 510hp and 450Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 7-speed automatic gearbox, and the car weighs 1,477kg. The car also costs £158,200. So the GT3 RS has the most power, but will it be able to snatch the win with all that extra drag? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE! Japan vs UK: Who builds the best truck?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUG8FfYV4S8

Our merch store is now LIVE: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Merchandise It’s time for an off-road head-to-head between Land Rover and Toyota! We’ve got our hands on the Arctic Trucks Toyota Land Cruiser AT37, and it’s going up against the Arctic Trucks Land Rover Defender 110 AT35. The two are going head-to-head over a series of challenges on an off-road course to see which of the two is the best off-road! But how will they compare? Let’s take a closer look at the stats. The AT37 is based on the Toyota Land Cruiser 250, so it comes with a 2.8-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 205hp and 500Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 8-speed auto, and it weighs 2,500kg. It comes with several modifications, including 37” all-terrain tyres, optimised and elevated Arctic Trucks R53 2-way adjustable performance suspension, and finally, extensive work to the frame, body, bodywork and more. All in, the car the and the upgrades cost £113,839. Then when it comes to the AT35 Land Rover Defender 110. It’s based on the current Land Rover Defender 110 and is powered by a 3.0-litre-6-cylinder diesel engine that produces 300hp and 650nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs 2,541kg. It comes with several modifications, including forged 20×10” ET-25 Arctic Trucks dual-valve alloy wheels dressed in 35” all-terrain tyres, upgraded adjustable performance suspension and widened Arctic Trucks fender flares. All in the car and the upgrades cost £100,484. Both vehicles also come with low range mode but the question is, which one will take the win? Could it be the more powerful Land Rover? Or will it be the less powerful but lighter Toyota Land Cruiser? You’ll have to stick with Mat, Sam and Graham to find out!
