Mat and the team have flown out to Dubai to put some incredible sand buggies to the test over a series of 100m races. So, will racing driver Sam have what it takes to beat Mat? Let’s take a closer look at what they’re racing. First off, we have Mat in a Can-Am Maverick R XRS, which has a 1-litre, 3-cylinder turbo that can produce 240hp and 209Nm. It comes with all-wheel-drive, weighs 1,100kg, and costs around $42,000. Alongside him, we have Sam in a Polaris RZR Pro R, which is powered by a 2-litre 4-cylinder that creates 225hp and 206Nm. It has all-wheel drive, tips the scales at 1,050kg, and costs around $39,000. Once this race is done, Mat and Sam will try out tuned versions of the same buggies. The Polaris will have a new turbo added, coupled with engine upgrades to now produce 480hp and 407Nm, while the Can-Am has a new turbo kit as well as several other upgrades to create 480hp and 407Nm. Both buggies are now also running on ethanol! However, the following two races are absolutely out of this world. First, we bring in the Funco GTU, which has a 7.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that creates 1,700hp and 1,763Nm. Then, we’ll bring in the Blower, which creates an absolutely insane 4,000hp!!! So who will come out first over the 100m, Mat or Sam? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!

New Porsche 911 GTS v BMW M4 CS: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2P6gX5rzKI

Get 20% off Car Vertical using code Carwow: https://bit.ly/Carwow-Car-Vertical How’s this for an epic line-up! We’ve got Mat in the all-new Porsche 911 GTS, and he’s lining up against a BMW M4 CS! The two cars are pretty evenly matched regarding power output, but can you pick a winner? Let’s take a closer look at the stats. Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 3.6-litre turbocharged flat-six that delivers 541hp and 610Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it tips the scales at 1,645kg. As new, it costs around £139,100. Then we come to the BMW. It’s powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six, and this creates 550hp and 650Nm. Once again, power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 1,760kg. As new, it costs from £117,100. So the two cars are very evenly matched, and while the BMW has a slight power advantage, the Porsche is the lighter car! Will the weight difference prove decisive? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE! New Audi RS6 with 780hp V8 INCOMING!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQE6t6wTECI

Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-2703 Good news: a new petrol-powered Audi RS6 is on the way! Following the recent unveiling of the new petrol-powered A6, we can reveal that Audi is busy at work prepping a new RS6 based on this car, and our designers have created some exclusive renders to show what it may look like! It’ll be wider and lower than the A6 and have many additional air intakes. We expect huge wheel arches, carbon ceramic brakes, and a choice of different alloy wheels. At the back, we also expect the exhaust design to differ slightly, this time sitting more centrally than where they are on the A6. However, that’s not all! We understand that two versions of the RS6 may be on the way, with an all-electric RS6 e-tron also in the works! We expect it could use the same platform as the A6 e-tron & Porsche Macan EV, and given the Macan’s dual-motors can produce 639hp and 1,130Nm, we would expect an electric RS6 to easily match this! The question is, do you think our designers have got it right? If so, do you like the look of the next RS6? Let us know in the comments!
