Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-For-Free-3105 How’s THIS for a World Exclusive! Mat’s flown over to Japan, and he’s got his hands on every edition of GR Yaris ever made! But that’s not all, he’s going to be the first journalist EVER to take these cars around Toyota’s all-new test track! During this video, he’ll get his hands on the 1st generation, the Japan-exclusive GRMN, the 2nd generation (both manual & automatic), and the limited-edition Ojier & Rovanperä editions! So let’s take a look at how they compare. Starting with the 1st GR Yaris, it comes with a 1.6-litre 3-cylinder engine that produces 272hp and 370Nm. It’s equipped with a switchable four-wheel drive system and a 6-speed manual gearbox, and it truly is an affordable and incredible rally car for the road! Then we come to the GRMN edition. Only 500 were ever made, and while horsepower is the same, torque increases slightly to 390Nm. The car also comes with several other upgrades, including a carbon fibre wing and bonnet, a lower ride height, and a load of Alcantara on the inside! Then we come to the second generation. Power has been increased to 300hp and 400Nm, and it’s available either manually or automatically. It comes with stiffer suspension, a 20mm lower ride height than the gen one, and a set of digital dials. It also comes with a loftier price tag, starting at £40,000. And then finally we have the two limited-edition models, built with personal input from drivers from the Toyota Gazoo Racing WRC team. Both editions have exclusive paint jobs, improved rear wings, as well as drive mode settings personally chosen by the two drivers. Both cars are limited to just 200 editions each! It’s the video every GR Yaris fan has been waiting for, but which will Mat choose as his favourite? You’ll need to keep watching to see for yourself!

Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-For-Free-3005 This is the all-new Peugeot 3008! Mat’s got his hands on the all-electric version of Peugeot’s family-friendly SUV, and he’s about to find out if it can compete with key competitors like the Tesla Model Y and Audi Q4 e-tron! So let’s start with a look at the design, and we have to say, it looks absolutely fantastic! Around the back you’ve got a sloping roof line, a little spoiler and some cool tail lights, and it also comes with a two-tone roof and a smart sculptured effect on the wheel arches. At the front it comes with prominent scratched lion-style DRLs, and even though this car’s electric, it comes with a super-stylish huge grille. It’s a huge improvement on the 3008s of yesteryear! Step inside and the cool design trend continues! Up top on the dash is a huge infotainment and digital dial screen, and there’s a customisable screen in the centre of the dash where you can add shortcut buttons. The cabin is mostly filled with soft-touch materials, and the centre console even comes with some physical buttons included. All-in-all, it’s hard to fault the quality of this interior. When it comes to performance, there’s currently a single petrol-powered car available, which is powered by a 1.2-litre engine that drives the front-wheels and provided 158hp. As for the E-3008, it comes with a single electric motor that can provide 213hp. It’s also equipped with a 72kWh battery which is good for a range of up to 327 miles. There are a few other releases in the pipe-line, including an E-3008 with a 98kWh battery and a range of 430 miles, as well as a dual motor edition that will be able to produce 320hp. A plug-in hybrid is also due in the future, too. When it comes to price, the petrol-powered 3008 starts from around £35,000. But if you’re in the market for an E-3008, you’re looking at a starting price of around £46,000! So is it better than the competition? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters

Should these 10 new car trends DIE?!

Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-For-Free-2705 Something is making our cars uglier, and we can do nothing about it! In recent years several new laws and regulations have been introduced, and it seems they are ruining the aesthetics of all-new cars! To make matters worse, some of the rules and regulations that have been introduced will alter cars so much, that some relatively new cars have had to go out of production altogether! In this video, Mat will run you through 10 aspects of cars that are having to change due to these new rules. For example, all new cars have to come with AEB sensors. This stands for autonomous emergency braking. Now of course this is important to help cars avoid collisions, the problem is, it results in large boxes having to be added to the front of new cars, and they just look awful! But that’s not all! There are now regulations for the size of door mirrors, too. In the past you would expect to see small cars come with compact door mirrors which still served their purpose. However, in the modern day, door mirrors have to come of a certain size, and we think these mirrors just look oversized on certain cars, further ruining the aesthetics! But of course, one of the biggest law changes that is changing new cars is the banning of internal combustion engines. Previously, the grille on the front of a car was a great way for manufacturers to show off their identity, but the removal of petrol-powered engines means the grilles aren’t required, so manufacturers are now adding plastic grilles which just lend themselves to ruining the car’s aesthetics even further! The question is, which of these laws and regulations do you think has ruined cars the most? Let us know in the comments!
