This is Electric Classic Cars’s Bug Zappa! And it might be one of the craziest EVs we’ve ever had on this channel. So let’s check out the stats. Starting with the Lambo, it’s powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 that can deliver 750hp and 690Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed gearbox, and the car tips the scales at around 1,775kg. When new, the Lambo cost around £238,000. The Porsche is powered by a 4-litre naturally aspirated flat-six that can produce 525hp and 465Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and it weighs just 1,450kg. With the Weissach Pack added, the car cost around £230,000. Finally, we come to the Bug Zappa! It’s shaped like a classic VW Beetle, but it’s powered by two Tesla motors and produces 800hp and 930Nm. There’s a motor on each axle, so it has four-wheel drive. It’s the lightest car here, coming in at 1,300kg. All in, the car cost around £75,000. So will it be an easy win for the all-electric Beetle? Or could the Lambo or Porsche snatch it? Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-0111 This is the Hyundai Inster! It’s an all-new compact electric car that’s meant to rival similar small EVs like the Citroen EC3! It looks super quirky, but is it more style over substance? Mat’s about to find out. When it comes to the design, the Inster certainly looks unique! Up front there’s a distinctive design with some of the wildest hazard lights we’ve seen on any car. Along the side, the cuteness & boxy design is turned up to 10, and we think it looks pretty smart with the roof bars added. Unfortunately, though, these aren’t available on the entry-level car! Around the back, there’s a unique tail light design, and when the brake is applied they become some of the brightest rear lights we’ve ever seen! The interior has a 1990s vibe, with quite a bit of plastic throughout the cabin. However, there’s still quite a lot of stand-out and impressive tech! There’s a big infotainment screen and a digital dial display. The latter even throws up camera displays when the indicators are used. The whole interior is fairly well-built, and the two-tone effect on the seats is pretty nice. The rear seats also come with lots of adjustment – pretty impressive for such a small car! There are two battery and motor combinations available. The first is the standard range, which has a single motor that delivers 97hp and a claimed range of 203 miles, while there’s also a Long Range available. This also has a single motor, but it can put down 115hp and has a claimed range of 229 miles. So is the Inster the must-have small EV? Or would you choose the EC3 instead?
