On September 16, 2021, the Music City Grand Prix was introduced as the newest stop for the 2021 NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule. The August 6-8, 2021 event will take place around Nissan Stadium, home of the NFL's Tennessee Titans, and will cross the Korean Veterans Boulevard Bridge twice along its 2.17-mile circuit.
