……………………………………………………. Mat’s got his hands on the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, and he’s going head-to-head against his own BMW M3 to see which is the king of the track! But what do you think, does the M3 stand a chance? After all, this Alfa is absolutely wild! For starters, it’s powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 that delivers 540hp & 600Nm – an increase on the regular Giulia Quadrifoglio. It’s also packed with loads of carbon fibre and it’s been fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes. What’s more, in order to reduce weight, it’s had the rear seats ripped out and replaced them with a roll cage! It’s pretty exclusive, though, with only 500 set to be made. And as a result, it’s pretty expensive, with costs starting from £150,000! As for the M3, it’s housing a 3-litre straight-six under the bonnet that can put down 510hp & 650Nm. It’s a bit heavier than the Alfa, but then again, it also costs half the amount, starting from £75,000! So can the Alfa prove its worth? Or is the BMW the smart choice?
