Well on paper it certainly looks like it’ll be a walkover. With a 1.6-litre turbo 3 cylinder engine, the GR can put down 261hp and 360Nm, while it also comes with AWD. As for the the Yaris GRMN? Well it’s got a 1.8-litre supercharged 4 cylinder engine, but it can only put down 212hp & 250Nm. Not only that, but it's also only comes with FWD! However, all’s not lost for the GRMN – it weighs in at just 1,135kg, compared to the GR Yaris’s 1,280kg! Will the weight difference be enough to power the older Yaris to victory?
