BMW M4 CSL v Porsche 911 GT3: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgQBsghYraQ

It’s time for an epic RWD showdown! Mat’s got his hands on the all-new BMW M4 CSL, and he’s facing off against Yianni in the Porsche 911 GT3! So let’s see how these two rear-powered rockets compare. Starting with the BMW, it’s packing a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six under the bonnet that can deliver 550hp and 650Nm of torque. It’s 100kg lighter than the regular M4, tipping the scales at 1,625kg. If you want to pick one up, it’s pretty pricey, starting at £125,900! Then we have the Porsche. It’s got a 4-litre flat-six slung over the rear axle, that can put down 510hp and 470Nm of torque. It’s a fair bit lighter than the BMW, at 1,435kg, and it also costs a bit more, coming in at £135,700. So the Porsche is down on power – does that mean it’ll be a walkover for the BMW? Or will the Porsche’s lightweight, coupled with its awesome launch control system, propel it to victory? There’s only one way to find out – LET’S RACE! Thanks to Yianni for joining us for this race: @Yianni

……………………………………………………. This is the Bentley Bacalar! Now don’t expect to see one of these on the road anytime soon. You see, Bentley is only producing 12 of these ultra-rare convertibles, and each one is set to cost £2,000,000!! But is it worth the eye-watering cost? Well, let's start with a look at the design. Even though the Bacalar is based on the Continental GT, it’s got a whole load of new body panels made from either aluminium or carbon fibre! There are a whole load of big vents up front and in the bonnet (don’t worry, they’re all real) and overall it all looks pretty imposing! In fact, the only items carried across from the regular Continental GT are the side mirrors and vents! On the inside, similarities to the regular Continental GT continue, but Bentley has effectively re-trimmed it. As a result, the interior is covered in aluminium, leather and even wool! There are also a few bespoke changes such as a new clock, and new gear shift panels. There are also bespoke Bacalar dials when you turn on the car. Under the bonnet, you’ll find (you guessed it…) the same engine as in the Continental GT Speed – a 6-litre twin-turbo W12 that’s good for 659hp and 900Nm of torque. Either way, no complaints there – what an engine it is! So what do you think – even though it looks this good, is it really worth £2,000,000?! You’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself! The most luxurious Mercedes!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1jGG7eziTA

Mat’s finally had a chance to get his hands on the Mercedes EQS SUV! That’s right, Mercedes’s range-topping all-electric saloon is now available as an SUV, and Mat’s about to see if it has what it takes to compete with class leaders like the Tesla Model X! So does it have what it takes? Well, let’s take a closer look. For starters, it looks relatively smart from the outside, although it doesn’t have much of an imposing presence for such a big (and expensive!) SUV. It looks a bit nondescript truth be told. Thankfully though, the inside is super luxurious and more than fits the big price tag! There are high-quality materials throughout the cabin, and it comes fitted with the same hyper-screen infotainment system as found in the EQS saloon. Passengers in the back even have the option to adjust their seats, and there’s even the option to add a third row of seats if needed! There are two editions of the EQS SUV available, with the range-topper being the 580. This comes equipped with two electric motors that can deliver 544hp and 858Nm of torque. It’ll also shoot you to 60mph in just 4.7 seconds! Here’s the thing though, the price starts at £130,000 in the UK!! So is it worth it? You’ll have to stick with Mat to find out!

New 750hp BMW XM: Everything you need to know!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhtmPvNBEiE

Introducing the all-new BMW XM! It’s the first bespoke M car to be released since 1978, and it is absolutely insane! So let’s go take a closer look. For starters, there’s no denying that the design is pretty polarising. Up front, there’s an absolutely huge lit-up kidney grille, 22” wheels as standard on either side and some stacked exhaust pipes around the back. It also has two BMW logos engraved into the rear window, just like in the last bespoke M car – the M1, released back in 1978! In terms of performance, the XM is an absolute beast! It comes equipped with the same tried & tested 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 as found in the M5. However, the XM also comes with an electric motor which means it can produce 650hp and 800Nm of torque! That’s not all though – there’ll be a special Red Label edition released next year which will come with 748hp & 1,000Nm of torque! That’s 24hp more than the Ferrari Purosangue! As for the interior, there aren’t too many surprises to be found here. It comes with the same wraparound infotainment system as found in the iX, and the entire interior is covered in Alcantara, leather and carbon fibre. All-in-all, it looks pretty special! So it all sounds pretty impressive, right? The question is, should anyone be prepared to pay the eye-watering £145,000 price tag?! You’ll need to stick with Mat to find out! Chapters
