What do supercar owners do for a job?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYuY3FEFoo8

Thanks to South OC Cars & Coffee for helping us create this video: https://www.instagram.com/southoccarsandcoffee/ Mat’s flown over to the American West Coast, and he’s attending a Cars & Coffee meet-up! There are absolutely loads of supercars at this event, with pretty much every supercar brand making an appearance of some description – Porsche, Lambo, McLaren, Ferrari and even Bugatti… They’re all there! The question is, how exactly do the owners afford to buy these incredibly expensive cars? Well, Mat’s about to find out! He’s going to speak to a whole host of car owners at the event to find out what they do for work to be able to afford these incredible machines. But not only that, he’s going to put them to the test to find out how much they really know about their car! The question is, will he find a car worth more than the most expensive car he’s ever drag raced, a Koenigsegg Agera RS?! You’ll need to keep watching to see for yourself! Audi TT Generations DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kw5BbQsCDJw

Thanks to everyone for lending us their cars: – TT RS Mk2: https://www.instagram.com/colesautocollective/
- TT RS Mk2: https://www.colesautocollective.co.uk/
- TT Mk1 V6: https://www.instagram.com/h.rryaa/ It’s time for every generation of Audi TT to go head-to-head! So let’s see how these three generations compare. To start with, we have two editions of the Mk1 lining up. The first comes equipped with a 1.8-litre 4-cylinder turbo engine that can produce 240hp and 320Nm. It sends this power to all four wheels through a manual gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,416kg. The next Mk1 comes equipped with a much bigger engine, a 3.2-litre V6 no less! It’s therefore slightly up on power, producing 250hp and 320Nm, and its power is sent through an automatic gearbox to all four wheels. However, it’s also the heaviest car here, tipping the scales at 1,520kg. Then we have Mat in the Mk2 TT RS. It’s packing a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbo under the bonnet, which can put down 340hp and 450Nm. It’s only equipped with a manual gearbox, but the power is sent to all four wheels, and the Mk2 weighs in at 1,450kg. Then finally we have the Mk3, and it’s the special-edition Iconic Edition TT RS no less! Just like the Mk2, it’s powered by a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbo engine, and it’s the most powerful car here, able to produce 400hp and 480Nm. It weighs in at 1,475kg, and the power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic gearbox. So will it be a clean sweep for the Mk3? Or could the Mk2 snatch it? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE! 300 km/h limited Overview Where speed and comfort are required, the 2024 Audi RS7 Sportback delivers. Power comes from a 591-hp twin-turbo V-8 engine that's bolted to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. It's a peppy puppy, and a new Performance trim adds an even louder bark, with 621 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Even when the RS7's gaping maw isn't swallowing bugs at high speeds, it serves as an easy-to-pilot and comfortable luxury performance sedan, among the likes of the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and BMW M5. Erring on the side of comfort, the RS7 attacks the road with delicacy rather than violent fury. Its rear-axle steering makes it feel lighter to drive than its hefty curb weight suggests, but should the hammer get thrown, its 190-mph top speed (unlocked with performance options) won't disappoint. What's New for 2024? Audi is kicking things up a notch with the 2024 RS7, specifically with a new Performance trim. Thanks to a pair of larger turbos and additional boost, its engine output rises to 621 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Those figures represent increases of 30 and 37, respectively, versus the regular RS7. Audi also lightened the RS7 by 18 pounds by gutting some of its sound deadening. There are also new 22-inch wheels wrapped with Continental Sport Contact 7 tires, and Audi has retuned the RS7's center differential as well as the programming for its selectable drive modes. New matte colors join the paint palette too, including Ascari Blue and Dew Silver.
Audi makes this easy because the RS7 comes extremely well-equipped with standard goodies such as all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, and an adjustable air suspension. For maximum madness, consider the Black Optics package which adds darkened exterior trim and giant 22-inch rims with summer performance tires. To unlock the V-8's best soundtrack, we'd also opt for the sport exhaust. Engine, Transmission, and Performance Power comes from a brilliant twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 that pairs with a 48-volt hybrid system, eight-speed automatic transmission, and Quattro all-wheel drive. All this tech makes the RS7 heavier than the last generation model, which made as much as 605 horsepower. Still, with 591 horses and 590 pound-feet of torque, the RS7 we tested rocketed to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. The new RS7 Performance, which gets larger turbos and more boost, has 621 horsepower with 627 pound-feet of torque. However, we've yet to test that one. Every RS7 rides on an air suspension with adaptive settings for varying levels of stiffness. However, it felt refined regardless of the drive mode, even rolling on our tester's 22-inch rims (21s are standard). It's also rewarding to bend into corners thanks to the poised chassis and the added agility of its standard rear-wheel-steering system. Crazy quick and unerringly comfortable are accurate descriptors of its driving personality. Despite not opting for the carbon-ceramic brakes, which allow its top speed to be increased from 155 to 190 mph, the standard stoppers hauled our nearly 5000-pound four-door down from 70 mph in an impressive 151 feet.

Why the new S63 is the ultimate AMG!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9LLxDRuwlA

At last, the new Mercedes-AMG S63 has landed… now with a hybrid twist! Not just an S63, this is now the S63 E-Peformance. It’s the latter bit that hints towards the power of this German luxury machine. A familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine sits under the bonnet, however it's now also paired up with an electric motor at the rear axle. It’s a similar setup to the latest AMG GT 4-Door, however here the two combine to produce 802hp and 1,430Nm of torque! The result? A claimed 0-60mph time of 3.3 seconds, and an impressive 180mph top speed. As a result of all the batteries and the motor though, weight is up too – with the new S63 tipping the scales at a whopping 2,520kg. Gulp. There are a few subtle AMG tweaks to the S63. Along with a new grille, it gets AMG-specific wheels and an intimidating quad-exit exhaust pipe that’s a dead giveaway to the performance hiding underneath the skin. Inside, it’s as luxurious as any S-Class should be – albeit with an AMG steering wheel and some new displays to add that performance touch. The price is big though, starting at £186,015. A heavy price to pay, or a worthwhile premium? Stick with Mat to find out! Chapters

New Audi RS7 vs San Francisco!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6iZNYxX_Wk

The Audi RS7 is back, with an extra helping of ‘Performance’! Though you’ll have to be seriously eagle-eyed to spot any visual changes, the real story of this new super saloon lies under the bonnet. With a couple of tweaks to the turbochargers, the RS7 Performance gains 30hp and 50Nm for a total of 630hp and 850Nm. As a result, the claimed 0-60mph figure drops to 3.4 seconds with top speed electronically capped at 189mph. Some tweaks have been made to the chassis to make the most of that additional power, namely some weight savings in the form of reduced sound deadening and the standard inclusion of rear-wheel steering. Inside, you’re met with a familiar interior – albeit with some new stitching options and a little more technology as standard. All this extra goodness comes at a price though, with the Audi RS7 Performance starting at £116,545. That’s almost £20,000 more than before! Is it worth the extra cost?
